I tried searching and did not find any posts with answers.

Has anyone observed better MPG manually turning off Pro Power each time they drive?

thank you.

Without a substantial draw and the two 3600W legs just in the ready state unfortunately no. Even at full 7.2kW load like say charging a Tesla it only robs the PB of about 10HP. Towing the Tesla while charging is a different story because of the towing of course ?

Perhaps we could tow a Lightning until it’s full and then it can tow us and so on as we combine to defeat the mythical beast known as RamCharger!
Ok I need some lunch…

As far as I know there's no way to turn it off. With the engine in Run, it's always on. Generator mode is not the same thing as PPOB.

I highly highly doubt it.

I think it only runs at startup at 200 watts, right? Maybe max 400 watts? (I'd have to go look). That just can't be enough draw to matter.

I'm no electrical engineer but even if the truck is providing that 200 watt ability, if there is no load connected to the outlets, I think the actual draw is 0 watts? Anyone out there verify that?

If there is no load connected there is no current flowing, hence draw is 0. Nothing is leaving the battery.

If you're loading up in generator mode at 5000 watts or something then yeah, I'm sure it matters. Less ability to run in electric-only mode.
