Bed light switch doesn’t turn on the bed lights

I made the changes after the dealership changed out the BCM. My bed lights and tailgate handle light will not come on. The switchs only turns on the 3rd brake light bed lights. Anything else to check that you guys know of?

I am having this same exact issue on my 2021. And this was standard on my truck.

Anyone get this to actually work?

I ordered with the bed utility package. Lights work fine with zone lights. However I cannot turn them on at the switch. Truck went to the dealer for the wiper recall and I mentioned it to them. They replaced the switch and still does not work. Next the are going to replace the BCM, waiting for that to come in.

Mine are still not working. Dealer says not covered under warranty due to wire coming from BCM for my lighted cup holder control.

Came to this thread after my switch wasn't working last night. Never thought it'd be a thing. Also noticed none of the lights came on when I opened the doors.

I ended up fiddling with some settings and also noticed the Ford App has updated (now without zone lighting or oil life....useless!). I noticed I couldn't activate Zone lighting with the car off (which was weird,,. I swear I've had it on before!).

Anyway, I turned on the truck, ran it for a few minutes, played around with some interior and mirror lights, then turned the truck off and the bed lights worked again.

Probably not very helpful to others but hopefully many of you just have a bug that sorts out with some settings getting changed.

So I tested mine this weekend and what do you know they are not working now. I have a 2022 XLT and added the bed lights following the directions someone listed on this forum. I went and checked my BCM with ForScan and the changes needed for the line below were gone:

726-81-01 x*xx-xxxx-xxxx
726-81-01 xxx*-xxxx-xxxx

I set the changes back to the below and they are working again...I'm assuming some BCM update overwrote my changes which seems odd as I did this over a year ago.
