Issue: Interior lights flash non-stop and cargo bed lights don't work

Hey All. I have a 21 Plati that I bought w/17k miles this past October. Interior lights flash non-stop and cargo bed lights don't work. Anybody had this issue and have a resolution? They replaced BCM but that didn't fix either issue. It's been with Ford for weeks and they can't figure it out w/Ford Tech support. Now I also have a crackling speaker in the rear right ceiling area. Appreciate any feedback on what to check or a fix for the lights issues! Thanks!

Most likely a pano roof leak onto the BCM in the right kick panel. Buddy's 22 Lariat had the same issue with the interior lights doing that.

UPDATE: John quit last Friday, so no one has touched it this week. They are attempting to look at it again Monday when "new" Techs arrive...any luck on this @Ford Motor Company ?

The BCM has already been replaced in the last 3 weeks. They would have noticed a leak there I would hope, while replacing it. I will note this to the Tech though. Thank you!

Funny, I have this exact same issue on my 22 Lariat. Brought the truck in for the light flicker and wiper motor. They reflashed the BCM unit to fix the flicker - but now the dome lights pulse and don't turn off. Dealership ordered up a new BCM unit but have yet to hear back about getting it installed. Not sure what the ordering timeframe on these are - but based on other notes, I'm not hopeful this resolves the problem.

Dealership also mentioned that Ford may have recalled the original fix due to issues (which seems to coincide with others here). I wonder if the new fix for the front light flicker fixes the dome light issue as well.

Hey DobbzMN, so it looks like I may be finally getting fixed after almost 9 weeks of trying and numerous trips to the dealer for this -- what I am told is that they needed to uninstall the previous BCM software and re-download the new BCM software. Not sure why it took being escalated to Tier 2 Ford engineering to figure that out. Then n the process, from pushing the bed light button so many times, they cracked the button pad and now had to order that part for me. Just FYI, I was told the BCM (back in early Feb) was on backorder for 3 weeks, but it came earlier. So, there is some hope for you! Lol. Good luck! If I get more info on the fix once I pick up my truck, I would be glad to share!
