Well I feel like an idiot. I got the bed divider because I thought it would be handy to keep stuff up the front of the bed.

I also bought the Retrax tonneau (the Ford version), 6.5' bed, and the cassette all but covers the boxlink brackets, meaning the only place to put the divider is all the way down by the tailgate. Useless.

Don't be like me.

For what it's worth, I use my bed divider near the tailgate. Seems more convenient than way up in the bed.
What size bed do you have? With mine it is almost at the tailgate!

It's the 6', or whatever the smaller bed size is.

The bed divider leaves maybe 2' or so of space between it and the tailgate, which is the perfect (for me) amount of space for everyday stuff to not be thrown around.

I wonder if the bed side-rails cleats will clear the Retrax cassette? There's a load divider that slides along the rails.

How much room is there between the end of the cassette and the bedwall cleat?

I'm debating between the Roll-N-Lock cover and the Retrax...thanks.

It it maybe 16" 18"?

It is a major fail for me. I wanted it up front to keep all my load gear, straps, towing gear etc, and keep the rear 3/4 of the bed for loads that come and go.

Pretty much useless in this position. Wish there was a way to relocate the boxlink brackets.

I think I willl be going with this same tonneau cover, and plan to swap out the front two boxlink plates to the ones in the below link (also available on Amazon), which should at least retain some functionality as a tie-down point.

My box link cleats were in before the retrax; there's around 10mm clearance between the side of the canister and the cleat. Most of the cleat is usable; is that enough for the bed divider? I don't use it so I don't know, but I can still use the cleats as tie-down points ?‍♂

There is no way the bed divider will fit in the front position without moving the BoxLink bracket. I do have a nutsert kit in this size, but too lazy o look at that option right now. I'd try and add two nuts and re-use the rear most. Even then, it would still not provide much useful space for the bed divider.

Also, I'm switching to the BuiltRight boxlink replacements at least at the front as they are easier to attach to than the boxlink cleat so close to the cassette.

Generally speaking the boxlink locations aren't great. I know they make that side rail track but that eats up too much space too at the sides.
