I'm stunned by the continuing and growing list of forced removals. I'm not sure how I would 'cope' if faced with forced removals but at the very least it would be a huge disappointment which would surely linger for a very long time.

I'm sure it varies person-to-person but for me the loss of the bed cam would be very significant, it's an invaluable aid for me hitching my 5th-wheel RV, equivalent to the tailgate cam hitch-view for folks with a bumper-pull trailer.

No foresight or crystal ball, just pure luck of timing that my 2022 Lariat was delivered exactly as originally ordered (with full awareness of 2021>2022 de-contenting, but no forced removal of any feature I expected when I ordered).

Folks hit with forced removal of anything they had reason to expect when they ordered certainly have my deepest condolences and sympathy.

I think the 20 - 23 trucks that have 99% of everything might end up being clasics. Like have the Camro

I only lost three things with my 2023 build.
Auto Start/stop - I was happy about
Heated steering wheel - a little annoyed but I probably wouldn't use very often.
Advanced Security - I am okay with this. Hopefully it is only the internal sensors.

I escaped the other removals with my order anyway.

But I hear you. When your spending 60 to 80k for a vehicle and then have this happen. but I guess your not locked into buying it and if the alternative is not building as many trucks. Not sure how many of us would still be awaiting a VIN.

Who know. I am just ecstatic I am finally on the home stretch. quick flight to Iowa and a 3 week drive home while site seeing.

I bet the built loaded Broncos are probably being gouged out the ass by unscrupulous dealers.

Even though I'm not happy with the bed cam removal, it's better than loosing the heater mirrors, how they were talking about at some point.

If you get the chance head north from Iowa then West and you will be able to go through the Badlands and head to Mt Rushmore. Wonderful trip I did many years ago when I lived in Iowa. In the picture of Washington looking down on the road you will see the Crossover SUV of the times.

Been there, done that on a motorcycle back in 2018. That is an awesome trip. I also added Deadwood and Devils tower along some other stuff to that trip. But good call.

I think we will be headed southern route. See Mes Verde, UT National Monument, Grand Canyon and who knows what else. Maybe Death Valley. Just depends on how much time we burn at each place. got three weeks to go from Des Moines to Oregon.

:)

If you have never been to Grand Canyon then that is something you will want to squeeze in. No picture does it justice to the magnitude of this place.

A helicopter ride along it is a wonderful way to see it and get a ride in a helicopter too if you never done that either. Safe Travels.

i’m trying to retrofit the ambient lighting and temperature dials into my 2022 Lol.
I just did the ambient lighting and am considering looking into the temperature dials on my 2022. What else was removed from the 2022 502A? Backup assist?

Yeah, thankfully I got in before that. I'm not sure why more people aren't upset about that. I like the factory Nav and use it when I can instead of using my phone's battery. Sirius is also a nice to have, even if you don't use it kind of feature.
