Battery Help

2023 XLT PB with 1700 miles. Having battery issues with messages like "System Off To Save Battery" and Ford Pass app says "deep sleep" mode and will not lock/unlock or remote start from Ford Pass app. From what I've read it's worth skipping the dealership and just purchasing a battery myself.

Please help: What battery is best H7? H8? name brand? What size will fit 2023 Powerboost compartment? And is there anything I need to do to the vehicle electronically after install like resetting anything?

I don’t have a Powerboost but from others I believe the H7 was the largest they can hold.

I had to charge my battery this weekend just to get an update to install…really sucks!

As for brands I can’t say but you’ll need to reset your BMS.

I went to two Ford dealers and with the second dealer they diagnosed the bad battery and replaced it under warranty and that was two years ago and no problems since.

H7 is the largest size for the Powerboost. As others said maybe try to get it replaced under warranty. Good luck.
