B&O….Oh No!

My 2023 XLT 302a options sheets shows B&O Sound System @ $610.00 and B&O Enraged (sic) @ $695.00 MSRP.

So, is the $610.00 option really worth it over base? I am not an audiophile and actually prefer my Beats Pro earbuds.

Where are you guys seeing this B&O Enraged? I looked in the order config and I only see the normal B&O and then the unleashed. I ordered a 23 with the Unleashed and the MSRP is showing $695 like the “Enraged” is stated as being.

B&O Unleashed isn't available on XLT trim levels.. unless somethings have changed

The 2023 Order Guide (P. 12) only shows the B&O 8 speaker system as an upgrade option for the 302A package, not available on the lower versions of XLT. The 18 speaker B&O Unleashed speaker system is not shown as an upgrade option until you get to the 502A Lariat trim level (P. 17).

b and o unleashed in my king ranch is freaking killer, but i am old and deaf in one ear
the speaker in the headrest and above your head is nice,
if i put in my hearing aid. BOOOM its very nice
especially to pandora joann jett or the who

From the Order Guide, Option 583 is the B&O 8 Speaker version available on 302A XLT and Option 588 is the unleashed version available beginning on the 502A Lariat. Your referenced price list is not trim level specific, it just shows the prices if the option is available. The Order Guide tells which options are available on which trim levels.

In the aftermarket world, what would $600 get you (including labor) in sound improvement?
I'm not saying it gets you nothing, but as much flack as the B&O unleashed gets from the high-end audio guys, it's really a pretty good value equation. (in my opinion)

I'm borderline audiophile. I didn't get the B&O but I'm going to put in exactly what I want later. Will it cost more than $600? probably.
