Had the truck for just over a month, for the entire time I have had the mirror auto fold function on. Yesterday it quit. I tried several times turning the truck to accessory, full engine start and then toggling the auto fold function on/off and they have yet to work. I can use the door mirror fold button and the will fold just not when I lock and close the doors.
Any thoughts on this?

YOUR GLOVE BOX LIGHT IS ON
MINE WAS DOING THAT TO. I JUST QUIT USING IT. I HAVE IT ACTUALLY TURNED OFF FOR WINTER NOW THOUGHT IT'D BE BEST. WE GET A LOTOF ICE STORMS MORE OF A PRECAUTINARY THING. MY LUCK IT WOULD FREEZE AND BREAK OFF. BUT I HAVE USED IT FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS IN THE CAR WASH JUST HITTING THE BUTTON MANUALLY AND THEY HAVE WORKED EVERY TIME. ALSO CHECKED FUSES AND HAVENT HAD A PROB SINCE THAT EITHER.

Try the mirror reset procedure that's described in your Owner's Manual (in the Exterior Mirrors section, buried under subheading "Loose Mirror"). It won't hurt to try and it sometimes cures power-folding mirror behavior glitches.

Good Luck, please let us know if it helps.

To reset the mirrors perform the following
steps:
1. By hand, fold or retract both mirrors.
2. Using the power folding/power
telescoping mirror control switch,
operate the mirrors until you hear an
audible click.
3. Operate the power folding or power
telescoping mirrors an additional 3 to
4 times to synchronize the mirrors.

Happens to me every time I go skiing, but other than that they've been fine. I just push them back out by hand and then the motor catches them again after that.

I appreciate the instructions and will give it a try BUT the mirrors work fine if I use the switch on the door. It's the auto fold feature that doesn't work.

UPDATE>>>>
It turns out it is partially user error. I have a supercab and the back drivers door doesn't latch top and bottom simultaneously. So when I shut the door too gently the bottom latch did not latch in it's second position and apparently it is enough to keep the auto fold feature from working but not enough to trigger to door open warning.
Once I figured this out and closed the door harder the mirrors worked as they are supposed to.
Basically the rear divers door wasn't adjusted properly from the factory.

I locked my keys in the truck the other day (with the pad), unlocked with the pad and the mirrors stayed folded even after pressing the button and driving a little. They automatically folded out after I had the key in my pocket and touched the driver side door handle. Something to keep in mind if anyone's searching this thread.
