Hell yeah. I LOVE my 2021 despite a couple quirks she has. Plan on keeping her for as long as I possibly can. Thanks to COVID she doesn't have auto start/stop so she just runs which I like. She also has a keypad!!
The price I paid for my 2021, Im babying this beast as long as I possibly can to get as many years out of her as possible after I am done with the payments.
Any word from your Dad?
I called my dealership yesterday and as I was talking to them they pulled up my trucks logs and saw no alerts/alarms/warnings during the time of the incident or a day prior or after. They did see some parking sensor issues, but I've had those since they changed my rear...
No. I left a business a couple minutes prior and was at a red light. Saw it cross light turning yellow so I left my foot off the brake and thats when it happened. Didn't put my foot on the accelerator yet.
i dont even know if mashing the gas pedal normally would make my tires squeal. The truck...
2021 (Oct 21 build date, Dearborn) F-150 Lariat 5.0 v8. Original transmission. 50k miles so far. Regular drive mode during times of both incidents.
The truck has only done this twice, about a year and a half apart. I am calling about service on it tomorrow because this is terrifying. I am at a...
I use Walmart Super Tech Full Synthetic SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil and religiously change it every 5k miles. 8qts is a lot of oil so I'm not breaking the bank every 5k miles. The only time its different is if its nasty out and I have to take it to the shop for an oil change and pay double what I would...
I'm super pumped that my thread is STILL going after all these years! I went with the 5.0 and I love it. Went with the 3 year lease and then bought it. Love the Lariat. I haven't put premium in it though, I should do that at some point and try it out.
True but 98% of the stuff on Amazon is Chinese these days. I prefer USA products as well but you still have to be careful as parts could still be made in china but assembled in the US then on slaps a "made in the USA" sticker.
I use jack stands in addition to a jack as a safety measure. Hell...
Im not one to normally promote stores but harbor freight is doing 10 days of deals and today (saturday) only they have 40% off coupon for floor jacks. Just picked myself up a 4 ton jack for $140, originally $240...
The 5.0s give you more power than its possible to imagine at idle so I don't know what you're referring to.
I did recently run into a couple of guys talking about their power boosts. I was able to snag a picture before they started slapping each others tailgates.
Joking aside, we all love...
thanks! First time getting beach tags for her. I am never ever ever dragging crap onto the beach by hand again. It was a life changing experience. Beach tags every year now!
I know its not fun add-on exciting but my lease is ending in two months so I started the process of buying it :)
other than the open recall for the rear axle shes been a great machine and, fingers crossed, will have her for a long long time.
I bought the 5.0 because in the event it breaks I will have an easier time fixing it myself than a 3.5. The 5.0 has less stuff that could break.
My first Ford pickup when I turned 16 was a v8 so that helped me make my decision too.
