After our 400 mile journey from the dealer, my first Ford vehicle ever is home. Drove through the remnants of Hurricane Helene, high winds and bands of rain, did not feel unsafe at any moment during the drive. I did average 21 miles per gallon, that was a pleasant surprise.

This has to be the best value for money, truck ever built, unbelievable, a Mustang V8 engine, all the tech you will ever need and a 4x4 all for under $40,000

First things first...

• Rear wheel liners.
• Floor mats to cover the Vinyl flooring (wish it had Carpets).
• Tack form Phone mount.
• Break-in Oil change is a few weeks (1000 miles)
• Ceramic Tinting windshield and windows.
• Get the truck registered in Kentucky and pay the taxes and title.

Compared to my old previous RCSB (Toyota Tundra), absolutely no place behind the seat for groceries.
So I will be forced to get some Bed storage options...

• RetraxPRO XR Tonneau Cover
• Bed Protection - Bed Rug
• Tmat-Truck Bed Mat & Cargo Management System
• Tailgate assist dampener
• Bed lighting
• Rails to carry my Mountain bike.

Need to hear the coyote engine sing so ...

• Xtreme / 3.0 in Cat-Back Front of Tire Exit
• Rocker Panel Shield for Side Exhaust

Drive observations, while driving above 80 mph they was some steering wobble, maybe steel wheels are hard to balance or could be cheap OEM tires. Not a big deal though, the truck is getting new Wheels and tires. Still have not settled on the wheel set I will get. Thinking of going with 22's and a 305-45 tire.

I did notice that the Steering was not centered, it was tilted to the left, I guess it will be taken care of when I order suspension lowering springs and drop shackle. The truck needs to be lowered a bit to have a better stance

Future plans...

• Katzskin interior upgrade
• Better steering wheel, heated would be great
• Fog lamps
• Upgraded sound system
• Sound deadening doors, floors, roof and bulk heads
• Alcantara head liner and A pillar covers.
• Color matched grill, bumpers, door handles, Fender Vents and Mirror caps.
• Sill plate upgrade, interior lighting upgrades
• Maybe front camera, side cameras and bed camera (no idea if this is even possible)

The cherry on the top will be

• Gen 6 Stage 2 Whipple Super charger
• Big brake kit.

Bedrug from Ford Accessories put to good use. Bought an Honda engine today to get it ready for a K24 engine swap into my son's Scion FRS.

By the way the Corsa Extreme exhaust sounds really good, no drone, grunt is there when driving hard.

I just found out Vossen wheels are made in USA. Guess I have no choice now but to buy a set also for my RCSB. Going to look great on your truck!

Im in Central KY and just bought the same truck. I really like the Blue. I’ll have mine in two weeks. It’s currently being supercharged. I’m having the Ford Performace lowering kit and Roush cat back installed as well. I plan to rock the steelies though, maybe indefinitely. Although those Vossens look great. Make sure to post a pic.

It is leveled with the Ford Performance drop kit. My son said the he has a tough time racking up the single cab at his work place on the lift, due to limited space between the wheels. He said it is up to me to remove the Front struts in my garage and give it to him so he can swap out with lowering springs.

Hope I don't have to buy more tools, my garage has all Metric wrenches and sockets. Does Ford use SAE instead of metric?
