When trying to order Area 51 on a 2023 F150 XLT my salesman told me it would take well into next year to get that color. Anyone else hearing that? Thanks,

I would wait. I really like the Area 51 Color. I had the Rapid Red, Velosity Blue and the White. I really like the Area 51 on my Bronco.

My wife says the same thing. Your Bronco is beautiful. Thanks for the response

I recall when the Gen 14 rolled out (late 20/early 21), that there were colors they were not yet ready to release, even through they were listed as available. Most of that had to do, I believe, with trucks coming out of Claycomo. In your case, if this is true, it might be a supply issue. They are likely forecasting Area 51 paint to be available at a specific point, but are using all existing stock for Broncos.

Could be the Area 51 color has been discontinued for the Bronco in 2023.

There have been a few leaks in regards to the Bronco color palette and, yes, Area 51 has been cut for 2023.

I may end up ordering an Area 51 F150 later this year. I have a 2022 King Ranch but the wiper Motor went out and Ford said it could be next year untiil the parts are available. It's been sitting for 2 months... only two weeks after I bought it.

Can you take it back from the dealership and use Rainx in the meantime?

Rainx only works well at highway speeds. It's not really safe and If i do have an accident knowingly using a truck with a safety feature not working I would be liable. The truck has been sitting at the dealers lot for 60 days. Ford has told me no eta on parts. What is funny is that I traded in my 2021 Powerboost and it had the recall on it also but the motors still were ok. The dealer then told me that parts would not be available til 2023 for the fix on the recalled 2021.

Is the motor bad or is it the linkages? Worth trying to repair it at a machine shop?

It's sealed and unrepairable. I talked to Ford again on Friday and they are starting a buy back. Looks like Im looking for a new truck. If anyone else has this issue please contact the NTSB and make a complaint. Maybe it will help Ford understand they need to keep safety parts in stock.
