Anyone using Waze having this issue.

Not sure if it’s a Waze or CarPlay issue. This has just started happening. While using Waze on main view and CarPlay music on side view Waze will go off and display shows app screen. My CarPlay music side view still there and music still playing.

Yes, I've been having similar issues since the last iPhone update. I have the same problem with it in my Honda, so I know it's an app issue vs a vehicle issue.

In both ACP and AA, the phone is drawing the screen. Likely a compatibility update for the app they'll release soon.

Good to know. Had my truck in for a recall on led lights told them about another issue. They say they updated all modules then this issue started. Not a big deal so I will wait and see. Thanks for the responses. It’s the normal for now so I am ok. At least it’s not just me.

I've had this happen a few times and swapping cables, rebooting the phone, and truck usually resolves it. If not then deleting the phone from the truck and clear the truck from Carplay settings on the phone and set it back up typically will. I have also found that it happens far less when using wireless CP and/or using a very high quality USB cable.
