Anyone regret choosing the tow mirrors.

Every time I see one on the roads I start laughing of how bad it looks. A ford with tow mirrors looks like a kid with big ears . if someone likes to have satelite dishes for ears I can’t argue with that ?
Now if you’re towing i bet that it helps a lot

The F150 & SuperDuty are basically the same cabin, so that proportion is actually the same as well.
They are only called Tow Mirrors because Ford named them that.
They are really just truck mirrors for a truck!

I'm just the opposite. Although I don't think the little Camry mirrors look bad on an F150, it does look like a truck with something missing.

Note: I'm an old dinosaur. It won't be long before me and my kind will be extinct. So you don't have to tolerate us much longer.

its 24 and only owners of Dumbo ear trucks can laugh at them and make fun of them.... but i still would not own a truck without them ... they are soooo much better

When I got my truck I had to pass on several good deals just because of the big ear mirrors. I found out later that it’s not a big deal to change them.
Anyway I agree that everyone has their own taste. For example I like to dress up and you guys probably like them cowboy boots and Texan hats ?

I currently have a 2023 lariat and we use it to tow our boat to the lake. I do not have tow mirrors, just regular and like the look. They work, but it would be nice to have the tow mirrors on occasion. I have a 25 KR on order and choose to go with the tow mirrors this time. Has anyone regretted getting the larger tow mirrors? Just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

I just got out of an 2020 with tow mirrors and moved to a newer one without. I’ll say this: If you aren’t going to be towing often, I wouldn’t get them. They look ok, but require a lot of babysitting when parking, drive-thu’s, parking garages, etc… It wasn’t worth it overall for me, but the saving grace was that they were powered. I had to use forscan to put them into “Lincoln Mode” along with a wire modification to have them fold automatically after the truck is locked. If you do get them, this is a must in my opinion. The split mirrors took a while to get used to, but they are super effective once you get it. I’m still happy to have regular mirrors back now though. I just don’t tow enough to warrant it.

The only con about the dinky mirrors is that they look like they were made using the mold from a 1986 Acura Legend Coupe!

You can blame the lazy design engineering team for that. But hey, maybe they took a survey and long behold they found out most customers like unproportionate tiny mirrors which also happen to have tiny hands!
