Gearing up to buy a diesel pusher RV and would like to flat tow either my F-150 or my wife’s Nautilus and I’m wondering if anyone can offer some advice or info on either option?

The F150 Owner's Manual has instructions for flat towing (not allowed for all models, see attached).

Likely the Nautilus manual has the same for that vehicle.

Thanks for link. I’ve seen instructions for both but was really wondering about the set ups people are using. The Nautilus has to have the battery disconnected and it seems like both vehicles will require wireless Brake and Turn signal lights? Wondering if maybe these two aren’t the best or easiest choice for flat towing.

As long as it’s four-wheel-drive, no problem.

The F150 is as easy to set up for flat towing a any vehicle out there imo.

The procedure to get it into flat tow mode varies slightly from year to year

it literally t me a minute to put it into neutral tow Mode

I’ve been towing for 10 years, first a 2014 and now a 2023

my coach provides a trickle charge to the battery, and my tail lights are wired to the coach and operate via roadmaster diodes.

all the lights are operated from the coach through the six pin electrical connection.

I have an Air Force one braking system

A thought, if you have the ability to keep or store a flat bed car trailer. I towed vehicles behind me and finally gave up trying to figure each one out and putting miles on my cars that I didn’t drive. I have a Carson dove tail 16’ electric brakes 6k payload. I’ve put 10s of thousands of miles on it and it has covered the purchase price in miles I’ve saved on my trucks or wife’s caddy. Plus it’s worth as much as I payed for it new. Not for everyone, works for me.
