  1. 2024 F-150 Platinum lumbar support and cruise control question

There is a setting for “speed recognition“ (it might be called something else.)you can turn that on or off. If you turned it off, then the cruise control merely maintains whatever speed you set and it does not change the speed up and down as the speed limits change. Within that setting, there...
  2. Taking Two set of keys when road trip traveling....

OK, this is new to me. It sounds like if you have two fobs it’s easy to program a third but not if you only have one? Do you have to get the fob from Ford? Is there somewhere I could find out what’s required and how to do it so I could make a third
  3. Taking Two set of keys when road trip traveling....

I’ve had mine in a waterproof magnetic box full-time under the frame for 15 years on several trucks. They’ve never moved. That includes lots of off-road wash board, etc. Those magnetic boxes aren’t going anywhere.
  4. Anyone flat towing your F-150

As long as it’s four-wheel-drive, no problem. The F150 is as easy to set up for flat towing a any vehicle out there imo. The procedure to get it into flat tow mode varies slightly from year to year it literally t me a minute to put it into neutral tow Mode I’ve been towing for 10 years...

2023 K.R. 3.5 EB We often go over to Europe during the summer for six months and leave the truck in storage. With my 2014 I used to hang a solar trickle charger (battery tender 10 W) on the front grill, disconnect the positive battery lead, and then attach the solar trickle charger to the...
  8. Rear axle bolt failure...AGAIN!!

My question about how it’s going to be handled under warranty is because this is not just a “normal “warranty problem. This is an ongoing and well known design problem where my vehicle currently falls outside of their date range. On one hand cars within the date range might be getting...
  9. Rear axle bolt failure...AGAIN!!

New to the forum. Add another 2023 to the list. I think one of the reasons why there’s less of them is simply because they haven’t been around long enough to have as many broken bolts as the older models yet. Mine was found during a 10 K service. I heard a slight rattling sound for a couple of...
