Unfortunately my 21 was totaled last week. In that truck, Sport mode was just too rowdy for everyday. Would hold gear forever. My new 24 is totally different. Sport mode drives like expected and shifts through all 10 gears. Much better management strategy.

I just got a Pedal Commander, I wanted the throttle, didn't want it to stay in 6th gear max, and the higher revs.
Stay in 6th? I drive sport mode all the time. No gear is locked out. Even cruise the highway in 10th.

Exact same experience! Totaled the 21 now have the 24. Sport mode is much more drivable.

I wish normal mode would not use cylinder deactivation and still use the same shift strategy. I wish there was a way with FORScan to make the change.

Hopefully the OEM Ford 5.0 tuner comes out, love to get rid of it.

100% yes. Crank the truck, it asks if I want to return to sport mode - yes sir I sure do want to return to sport mode!
Shifting is better, and cylinder deactivation is deactivated. I'm getting 16.0 MPG currently - but I like to launch at red lights and get loud with the exhaust. :)
This is exactly why my gas mileage has been crap :D lol

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
https://www.4dtech.com I bought a start/stop eliminator from these guys. Easy to install. A slick solution to spending time and money on foreskin. The unit essentially reverses the operation of start/stop. It now starts by default with start/stop deactivated. IF you want to enable it for some stupid reason like you need to be hit in the head with a cast iron skillet by your girlfriend/wife, maybe both, then you must press the usual start/stop button to activate again. When the truck is turned off it defaults back to start/stop deactivated. Pretty slick.

I love sport mode for the tighter steering feel, so mine stays in that mode. However, when I get the cluster display message asking if I want to return to sport mode and I click “ok”, it doesn’t revert to sport mode. I wonder if that’s common or an issue.

Has to be in Sport mode and AWD on the highway for me. Love the instant get up and go!

Sounds like an issue. Mine doesn’t do that. Sport mode is a little jerky around town but man it’s fun!

Thanks, I’ll do more research and I may ask about that if I’m at the dealer sometime.

What are your overall impressions? Do you like the way the 10 speed shifts in this mode versus Normal mode? Is fuel economy that much different? Still waiting on mine. Thanks!
Tried it a few times just to impress myself and GF who drives a VERY fast TSLA. EV = 100% instant HP!
