I have both. The ST is definitely a fun daily for the wife. I don't consider it fast at all though, or even really quick for that matter. I'm kinda jaded and consider 400 hp the bare minimum for "fun".

Rides pretty nice. WAAAAYYYYYY better than my Ridetech equipped RCSB. Average MPG seems to be 19-22 mixed driving. Handles pretty well for a heavy SUV. Also, the Ford Performance driving experience you get invited to when you buy new is pretty neat.

I don't know, I mean with just a tune, they run 11's. That's not quick for a soccer mom car?

There is a 'jailbreak' solution to get fullscreen AA/carplay for the vertical screen on the older model as of a few weeks ago. I don't need one but asking prices will become very attractive in only 2-3 years for the 20-23. It has the commuting holy trifecta of massage seats, lane centering, and ~400HP+, which you can't get elsewhere without forking 20k more on a well equipped X5 in the new market.

I have little reservation about mild tuning given the reputation of the Nano platform but some of the oldest 2.7s are starting to crack the cylinder head at the water jacket of the integrated exhaust manifolds. I worry the 3.0 will have the same problem
