Sorry to ask a silly question but my order tracker just went backwards from “In Production” to “Order Confirmed”
I feel like I read here before that may be a good sign???
Everything I have read here means that is a good sign…reach out to your dealer.

I still think there is some hold related to powerboosts... not sure what it is but just a trend I have noticed here.

Below is what chat told me today

Thank you so much for holding. The last update is from 05/01/2024. It shows that the vehicle is still in production. It also shows that the vehicle was sent offsite for holding. You also have a pending update on the vehicle. It doesn't give us alot of information regarding the pending. It can be a series of reasons, but it doesn't say for certain. They have not updated the ETA date just yet. You can also check your status online at https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news and I honestly hope I am wrong. I have been told multiple times that it was sent offsite for holding/shipping and nothing happens, after that was also told it was sent offsite for "upfitting" (note nothing on my truck needs offsite installtion like bed liner or wheel well liners). Ford chat seems to have random responses whenever I ask them and the estimated deliver date has not changed which was 5/19-5/28 but its 5/21 PM and Memorial day is in within that window so I am betting on the over.

My take away is Ford Chat is only useful for seeing if there is a "secondary status" on the car and getting estimated delivery dates (which dont seem to be updated). Even then the secondary status seems inconsistent

Ya I actually called Granger when I saw it but Chip had left for the day. Don’t want to get my hopes up but maybe it will finally ship. Next Friday is 9 months from the order being placed

Typically it does this when its going to switch to 'shipped'. I'd guess you're 'shipping' in the next day or two. Not gospel, just what typically happens when the tracker does that.

Well just an update for anyone else in my position, got a text that it shipped at 4:40am this morning! Expected delivery at Granger between 6/4-6/17!

I tried to make myself go that way... same truck with 22's and some options, cheaper, but I just couldn't do it. Many things that I did like with the Denali, but these are what kept me away;

- GM engines aren't interesting (Duramax has it's issues and the V8s are old school and yet new issues appear each time they are "improved").
- Seats seemed hard.. comfortable for short distance but not sure long-haul.
- No Twin-Panel Sun Roof (and the cabin seemed a little tighter overall).
- Nav screen is super wide but short, so really like an 8" screen (or smaller) with a mini-screen next to it.
- Both interiors look nice. I currently prefer the more "techy" (or clean?.. I can't explain) Ford look/feel. My 2019 Ram Rebel interior is tough to beat, and more like the GMC to me, so maybe that's part of it... I wanted something different.
- No Pro-Power Onboard (Not a big deal to most, but is nice to have if you're the type to use it).
- Ford seems to have a bit more "fun but useless tech", which I like. :)
- I really like the idea of the Pro-Access Tailgate.
- I wanted a Hybrid or the Coyote V8 and nothing else would do.
This. Ford should really put this out for their ads. I agree with all of this. I have been trying to talk myself into a Denali, because their pricing is actually really good. However, all of these points hit home with me as well (except I do like the Duramax engine). The biggest issue to me is the seats. Sounds petty, but their seats just suck. The other big issue for me is the tight cabin. I seat three boys in my backseat. The GMC is 2" more narrow in hip room for the rear seat. That is actually quite a lot. The bed is larger in the GMC (5'10" vs 5'6") but most of that increase comes straight from the cab volume. Which means the cabin is squashed. So, I give it you, great points.
