I also placed a second order for a XL RCSB on 03/25/2024 and received an order confirmation on 03/27/2024. It's been crickets ever since. The first truck I ordered was confirmed on 01/08, then when into production on 02/12. Was scheduled to deliver 03/14 but that never happened. NOT A SINGLE UPDATE FROM FORD OR MY DEALER as to why the delay, or a new delivery date.
Placed my order for my RCSB on Jan 22 and just recently got my 3rd “We’re working on your scheduled build date” email. At this point, I could probably find one with my specs close to me. For now the only thing that keeps me from doing that is the current APR.

How do they count sales? Is it the number of F150 that leave the factory, arrive at Ford Dealerships, or get sold to consumers? When Ford and Chevy were battling for 2023 sales, there some dealers in the North Texas Metro area with over 700 new 2023's F150 on their lots. There was still over 60,000 2023 F150s on dealer lots nationwide when truck month started last quarter. That 140,000+ of F150s "sold" almost matches the number of 2024 Job 1 F150s stored in vacant lots.

Note 6th paragraph from this news story from last February - " One key issue for Ford is the importance of producing as many vehicles as possible, because they're recorded as a sale for the automaker when they leave the factory, not when they leave the dealership, noted John McElroy, veteran automotive analyst and host of the "Autoline After Hours" podcast and webcast. I really enjoyed reading this from the Ford Spokesperson:

‘Building vehicles and storing them initially is part of the new launch process and procedures, Levine said.’

Worst new launch process a company could do on purpose. They would look better to admit the truth and say they discovered an issue and held the vehicles to address those issues before sending them to dealers and customers, rather than try to cover it up and say they purposely held the vehicles because it is a purposeful part of their process.

It’s boarderline fraudulent and sure isn’t an honest answer. Shame on them. I’ve lost a lot of faith in Ford.

Today marks 7 months since I ordered mine. Very disappointed with Ford's pre-order process, especially seeing a TON of folks placing orders 2-3 months after mine and they get theirs delivered 2-3 months later....

Got to be frustrating. My order is very simple, Lariat, and the only option I chose was the electronic rear differential. Placed the order on 3/19, built last week, and got a notice that it shipped and on the way to the dealer yesterday. Makes you wonder what the delay is, lack of parts for the options ordered, or did they have a quality issue they were trying to resolve?

Finally got mine (platinum high 702 4x4) Saturday after 7-months without PAT as I expected. Beautiful truck and amazing tech. Dealer installing leveling kit and some kind of ceramic paint protection that the warden (wife) wanted to add. Blue cruz works great and is very impressive. Larger 3-peak at least 34" tires after level. Truly an amazing and beautiful truck! No regrets at all and pictures after dealer mods.

has anyone seen or received a truck with the new PAT? I placed a 2nd order couple weeks ago but I haven't received an email yet other than the order confirmation I really hope it does not take another 6 months or more just like the previous order
