Just curious, how did you find out about the July estimate? Did the dealer provide that info?

Yep. Kept asking for more details and updates on what’s causing it and if there was an estimated timeframe. They eventually went up the chain and were told July was when the quality hold was expected to be released.

It is, but I don't believe that's the reasoning behind it. They have other places they can store these trucks now, especially with so many more of them being shipped (seems to just be the high trims from those very early build dates that still aren't shipping anytime soon).
When I was told this by my dealer back in March, July wasn't a widely reported release date. Now it seems to be more accepted/confirmed. They told me it was a module issue that could not be resolved until early July - not the race schedule causing any movement. Either way, none of this is really news, just releasing some frustrations I guess.

I'm in just "Order Confirmed" status so far. And if there is one thing I've learned being on the forum is it's impossible to know when you can pick it up until very very late in the process. I imagine Ford prefers we just buy out of local dealer inventory.

I counted 10 portable toilets in the pic. That implies lotsa folks reworking dec-jan-feb produced trucks. Are those temporary rework tents in the background?

It will depend on the trim and options you selected. Some options, like the Black Appearance Package are in short supply so the wait is longer.

Post up your build sheet or option selection and I’m sure someone can chime in with a current estimate for being scheduled.

I also placed a second order for a XL RCSB on 03/25/2024 and received an order confirmation on 03/27/2024. It's been crickets ever since. The first truck I ordered was confirmed on 01/08, then when into production on 02/12. Was scheduled to deliver 03/14 but that never happened. NOT A SINGLE UPDATE FROM FORD OR MY DEALER as to why the delay, or a new delivery date.

I placed my order 12/4/2023. I still don't have a VIN. My understanding is you won't get a VIN until you have been scheduled to be built.
