I have also never had any issues, but I always pay attention to posts about it because I'm holding my breath. Also in the don't use it a lot, but super happy to have it club. I think the folks who off-road a lot, have issues more often. Fwiw

Never have had an issue, also had one in my 2012, 2016 and 2018 trucks. No issues with those either.

I haven't had any issues with mine after almost 2 years. I use it all the time when weather allows.

Yes, unfortunately because it says "Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition if the vehicle meets ALL (my emphasis) of the following criteria:

*2021-2022 F-150
*Equipped with a B and O audio system
*Rear window glass sliding panel rattling when in the OPEN (again, my emphasis) position and music is playing"

My window only rattles when it is completely closed, if I open it even the slightest amount the rattle stops. Because of that the dealer refused to comply with the Service Bulletin.

They did try something, but that just made the rattle worse and the window leak when water is sprayed at an angle toward it. Rain is sealed out, but I can't hit the window directly with the hose when washing it or it leaks. So in reality they just made the situation worse, like most things they work on.

Since I never open it except to stop the bass rattle, I'd much rather have the option to just delete it from future builds.

Thanks for posting the TSB for us though. I was looking for that one a few days ago but couldn't remember the number for it.
Have you taken the truck to a different dealer? I would if the 1st one can't fix it.

i have maybe opened mine less than 5 times
and during summer i have a custom WIFE made sun screen that goes in between the factory cloth thing and the glass, helps super duper amounts with the summer sun
so it never gets used in summer
but we have had no leaks or weird wind noise
i got caught a year or so on a deluge on the highway that was coming down so hard and fast that i could only see about 30 feet in front, and promptly found an exit
...no leaks

You have a great Gal there, Sir. Has she thought about selling these custom sun shades on the forum here. I'll bet she'd find a lot of interested people, A Stars and Stripes version maybe. ?

Have had to flush drain lines on a couple of them a few times with an air compressor.
Never any major probs, leaks or issues.

Ours has attracted some complements from the back seat, and caused no trouble - SFSG ('23 Platinum). In the New Mexico sun, I only get to see it for a few months in mid-winter, but those are pretty awesome. When it gets warm, the motorized interior shade gets called for but it works well. I have been considering a UV coating to help extend sunroof season, but don't live in the kind of town where that is easy to get.

If you are contemplating it but not sure, the only downside IMO comes to weight, and that's only if you plan on towing at anything close to the truck's capacity. The sunroof adds weight, and that comes directly out of the stickered cargo capacity.

We don't open it much but I value the view during the darker months, and would buy it again.

I rarely open it.. However, I keep the sun screen retracted during the winter months and the interior feels airy and more spacious. And I haven't had any issues in 30k miles.
I do like it and would definitely get it again.

I have a 2011 . The slides broke maybe 6 or 7 times. I replaced everything once. I finally stopped using it.
I have a2015 platinum. The slides were replaced by ford 3 or 4 times during warranty. After warranty, i replaced then with a aftermarket brand. Never failed again.
I have a 2023 king ranch. No problem so far.

After 18K miles my pano started to leak on the drivers side. Turns out the rubber gasket had started to peel away from the glass near one corner, and the ends of the front glass panel gasket started to curl downward. The dealer replaced the gaskets on both glass panels (under warranty) which resolved the issue. I have not opened it since the repair with the rainy season upon us here in the Pacific Northwest.

21 Job 1 no issues. We have had sunroofs on every vehicle owned for decades. No issues and I’m hoping that continues. Love the light and ability to open. I check the drains once in a while and so far so good.
