After reading countless positive reviews on the Eibach coilover kits it was an easy decision to pick what suspension I wanted. For the price and what you get this is a very hard kit to beat. In stock form I have always felt my truck was way to soft, it reminded me of an 80s Cadillac and had a very floaty feeling. In turns the truck would roll over and under hard braking you could really feel the nose dive. I know most people choose the resi rear shocks but to be honest these would be more of a cool feature for me as I do not need this option plus it saved me some coin. I can clearly tell the rear end is more planted and rides considerably better.

I am very impressed with how the truck drives with the Eibachs installed all the way around. I only drove it about 5 miles so far but could instantly feel a more planted firmer riding truck. The truck is tight but not aggressive by any means and under hard braking the nose does not dive down anymore. Also, the few bumps I hit the rear end seemed to be more planted. On the stock rear shocks the back end would feel as if it was moving around on bumps.

I was not looking forward to doing the install, prolly why I waited 4 months to finally get it done. To be honest the install is very straight forward and easy. I did this in my drive way off of jack stands and from start to finish it took me 3 hours. This includes me taking my time and torquing all fastners to OEM specs and putting everything up once I was done. As everyone knows the front struts have studs and if you dont take the lower control arm off it can be a pain to get the strut out. I was able to get one of the studs clear and the other one was barely hanging up. Rather than risk messing up a CV I took a sawzall to the one stud that was giving me a hard time. I did this on both sides and it only took about 30 seconds to cut the stud off. In the future if I put the OEM suspension back on I can remove the broken stud with an air hammer and use a nut and bolt, easy fix.

Below are my front measurements on the OEM suspension, height immediately after installing, and height after 5 miles of driving. All measurements taken with a full tank of fuel.
Stock:
Front Left: 37 1/16
Front Right: 37 3/8

Eibach PRO 2 After Install:
Front Left: 39 5/8
Front Right: 39 13/16

Eiabch PRO 2 After First Drive:
Front Left: 39 3/16
Front Right: 39 1/2

Rear Left After First Drive: 40 5/8
Rear Right After First drive 40 3/4

The coilovers come at max height out of the box. All measurements above are with the Front Left turned down 7 full turns and the Front Right was turned down 8 full turns. After I drive the truck again I plan on going down one more full turn on the passenger side and see how close that gets me. I may go up one more turn on the drivers side but it will depend on the truck settles.

As others have posted, if you are considering this kit just go ahead and order it. You will not be disappointed.

Nice. I turned my passenger side too far down initially because the suspension did eventually settle and I had a full tank like you when I measured.

I have 40mm of threads showing on the bottom.

With the stock 32" tires I was at
DF 39"
PF 39.25"
DR 39" full tank
PR 39" full tank

I now have the Eibach rear lift block as well, so will be 40" in the rear with 32s.

I am running true 34s, so just add an inch of height to each corner.

Edit:

I recommend getting the SPC alignment kit. Will make a big difference for the alignment tech and ensuring your alignment is locked down.

I have the Ford Performance (Bilstein) kit which does not offer the adjustability of the Eibachs. However, to my eye, the truck appears leveled with the fender at the middle of the front tires being ~1" lower than the rears. Now you just need some ~34" rubber to fill the wheel wells!

Just did my front Eibach Pro 2 front coilovers today. Went fairly smooth except one nut on the passenger side strut tower was a PITA. I've got the Power Boost and there's a bunch of brackets, hard coolant lines, and high voltage wires mounted just above the mount. Access from the top was a no-go unless I wanted to disassemble a bunch of hybrid componentry... no thanks.

So I did the next best thing. I cut a piece off the HV wire mount and bent the mount bracket enough to get a flat ratcheting 18mm in. After a bunch of 1/16 turns, I finally got it off.
Below shows the nut location, pry bar, and the cut. I later drilled s slotted hole and re-mounted the HV wire stud. I also drilled a hole above it and fished a tie wrap through just to make sure it doesn't come loose.

Interestingly, the drivers side gave me a hard time putting the strut in place. The factory strut came out easily enough, and the Eibachs are barely 1/4" longer.
I had to use my coil spring compressing tool and a ratchet strap to get it in.

Apart from that, everything else was fairly simple.
I figured It would be easier to leave the preload all the way up and dial it down to get to the desired height. It's much easier on the threaded collar - and my back! The included spanner is helpful but it's still tough going. The drivers side is obscured by the sway bar link, brake lines, & sensor cables in the way. So I did it on the front side of the strut meaning you have to push instead of pull. Did I mention, I'm getting too old for this!

Not the best spot to see the elevation but the whole driveway is sloped so I'll have to get a better picture elsewhere.

Now to shower and nurse my aching back!

Any idea on the cost of the setup and how much it costs to get installed at a reputable installer with alignment?
I paid $950 shipped through a buddy for mine, stage 2 set-up. I did the install myself so I'm not sure what a shop would charge, I would guess between $500 and $700 with alignment.

Nice work- looking good! After a few thousand miles on my Eibachs- I love them more now than when I initially installed them. I did turn down the front 1/2" from the factory setting to soften the ride in the front. Now it absorbs potholes like a champ and no more jittery, floaty ride of the stock suspension.

I am very interested in one of these. I see the kits went on sale on their site, but none in stock. And none expected until well after the sale. Hopefully another sales comes up around the 4th of July.

Anyone know your new clearance height? Would love to do this but have to get into a 6’10” garage. Raptor R fit in it though so I’ll probably be fine.

So guys what has been the average lift you get from these Eibach Pro 2 coilovers the way they are shipped for a 4x4 3.5 Eco? I’ve got a set coming this week and want to turn them down to 1.5” just need to know what they average at before making many turns down.

Each full turn on the collar is supposed to provide 1/8 in of lift. Mark the collar with a paint marker or a piece of tape so you can accurately count turns. For 1.5 in of lift I would recommend 12 revolutions on the driver side and 13 revolutions on the passenger side to start.

Thanks for the response. So what do they come set at? 12 turns is a 1 1/2” drop.

Out of the box they come set at max height, which I believe equates to a 3-in lift. The 1 turn equalling 1/8 in of lift is not exact. This will vary depending on truck model and options you have. This should be a good starting point for you though. Make sure you take your stock measurements so you have something to go off.
