Sorry, not by me. @tonesto7 developed the original widget for iPhone, but I think it became too difficult to continue supporting. However, I won't speak for him.

I'd like to say it will come out of hibernation soon, but I've been waiting twenty months for Ford to release the public API. I can say I haven't had one complaint from users on the Play Store that their account was locked out...

Uploaded version 2024.04.27-12 to GitHub and Play Store. Only change is for Lightning owners: a single tap on the HVB progress bar will display its temperature and voltage.

Someone posted a new issue on GitHub about login issues, and it appears Ford is using different URLs now for authentication. This doesn't seem to affect getting refresh tokens, so if things are working for you just don't try to log in.

I'd like to say there's been progress but it's not the case. The new login API is still locked down and there isn't any known bypass. ?

Oh snap. I never realized you're the one that did this. I used the widget for a while (before I joined the Mach E Forum) and it was pretty damn cool.

Uploaded version 2025.01.27-10 to GitHub and Play Store. The only thing in this release is an update on the app's status, basically saying it's not dead yet.

In the past month I reached out to my contact at Ford and recently I got a response. The explanation is that the public API isn't dead. They had to prioritize their efforts on compliance with the EU Data Act, but that work would also be usable in the US as well. Stay tuned.

Widget adjacent request:

A few years back Google created some insane requirements to publish an app on the Play Store (insane for small developers). Apps must now go through internal testing before a public release, and Google require a significant number of testers. I've written a very simple app which I wanted to make available to the public (GitHub link below), but I have to locate testers first.

If you're willing to be a tester, either DM me or send an e-mail to my developers account ([email protected]). I'll need an e-mail address to include you, preferably the one associated with your Google account.
