Ambient lights not turning off when shut down and locked?

Tesla isn't also managing an ICE and transmission onboard. And an F150 has a much different native mission than an all electric sedan. An F150 has to be a real truck as well as whatever else Ford is adding to the mix.
I'm not defending Ford's shortcomings as they venture into a very new space for them, but I find it hilarious to threaten Ford with those that are even more stuck in their legacy approach.

Same issue, ambient lights over rear seat power outlets will not turn off. Truck goes into deep sleep mode and now my ford pass app is telling me my battery is almost dead take the truck for a long drive. Bought this 2022 Lariat for $80k 3 weeks ago and it’s my 12th F150. Not too happy right now w/ ford.

Is this adjustable through Forscan?

my 2020 XLT stays on 10 minutes.

I was able to adjust cigarette accessory power outlet from 75 minutes to 60 seconds.

MY REAR LEDS ABOVE OUTLETS HAVE BEEN ON FOR THREE DAYS NOW. HEADED TO DEALER ON WEDS.
60,000 DOLLAR TRUCK AND I GOT TO TRICKLE CHARGE OVERNIGHT.
FORD IS GETTING ON MY NERVES.

I understand as I'm frustrated just as much with ford, or the design. I had yet "another" over night finding the battery dead on my 2021 f150. After charging and reconnecting the battery, I found the accent lights over the rear power outlets on. They did turn off after about ten min. I also found only the radio dials and buttons between these dials lit up. They would not turn off. After 2 hours still on. After opening the driver door, I popped the hood to start looking into resetting fuses. Two minutes later, the two lights were off. Hard to trouble shoot with these inconsistent symptoms. Now I'll need a computer to reset items, so things like the rear view camera button and start/stop features work. Dealers had to do this previously. I'm really starting to wonder about the Bcu. I also have random system restarts while driving (the main large display). This keeps up, how do you not want to consider another brand. It's so hard to even get onto the dealer and when you do, the symptoms aren't there that day. Arrrrrrrr

Yes!!!! I know what you mean! For some reason they stay on while all the other lights go off. I did check my truck twice and after about 10 or 15 minutes they do eventually go off..

I just saw your post. I'm having the same issue and the dealership said they can't find the problem. Did the ford rep. help you and was the problem fixed?

My new 24 does this also! 70K$ truck 90 miles

Is there a fix for this?! Tonight randomly my 2023 f150 xlt with 5k miles on it just started doing this with the rear lighting on the back of the center console, as well as my 12” screen being backlight even after I powered off and locked the truck

Just bought a 2024 lariat 502a package and tonight I noticed that the center rear light over the plugs stays on even after locking the doors….. I’m currently waiting to see if they turn off ….. it was by chance I saw them on after taking my dog for a walk!

Did you go back and time them - those and the USB ports go off about 15 minutes after locking I believe. These lights are an indicator many use to confirm the truck has gone fully asleep when doing updates, etc.
