Alternative F-150 Interiors to Black

It seems that the vast majority of F150 come with Black interiors. The next most frequent I have seen is the even more-Blackish interior that is the only option with the Black Appearance Package (BAP) for MY 2024. My focus is the Lariat. Since the 2024s have shown up on dealer lots in March, I have struggled to find any F150 truck that doesn't have a Black interior, e.g., Medium Dark Slate or Smoke Truffle. I do not trust the computer-generated images on Ford's website. So, for those of you interested in seeing what the alternatives to Black are but cannot find any, I posted these photos of the only example I have seen of these two colors in Lariat trims.

I hope there are a few of you out there that can benefit from these pictures. Please feel free to post examples of other trims.

Last Saturday, I saw the first example of a non-Black interior in a Lariat up in Bentonville AR. It was Medium Dark Slate. You will notice that many of the door panel and other interior pieces are a light gray color. This was especially noticed across the back seat.

Today, I found a Lariat with the Smoke Truffle interior in Weatherford TX. The door panels and other interior pieces are a dark gray that appears to be the same as in the standard Black interior. The brown piping on the seats was a nice match to the Smoke Truffle. The Smoke Truffle is a darker interior overall compared to the Dark Gray Slate.

Note: I found the Smoke Truffle on a Platinum in Bowie TX to be much lighter in color than on the Lariat I saw today.

Methinks too much span for rollover / side impact integrity - need that B pillar, then might as well hang the door on it.

A bit of a reach too far for some of us, but I can understand that move (YMMV but I really dislike all black / grey interiors!)

Smoked Truffe is gone for MY2025. The amount of Medium Gray Slate material in the interior has been reduced.

I've had grey cloth seats before in an older F150. Never again. Shows everything! Must be all black. Black carpet, black seats, black headliner.

Dang, everything is going pleasantville. You can have any color you want as long as it's gray exterior, gray interior. Bummer. I loved the Baja tan, just didn't find one with the features I was looking for. Also didn't mind the reddish/brown accents in the early lariats too. I don't like the brown steering wheel in the KR but otherwise it's really nice.

It's a Ford. You can have it in any color you like, so long as it's black!

I mean, really, that was established more than a century ago!
