Description: On your vehicle, the moonroof air deflector may become partially or fully detached. Prior to a full detachment, you may visually notice the air deflector separating from the front of the moonroof when opening or closing the moonroof. You may also hear wind noise or rattle noises if you are driving with the moonroof open.

Safety Risk: If the moonroof air deflector fully detaches while driving, this can create a road hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Moonroof air deflector repair is now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to repair your air deflector free of charge.

Dealer texted me today to bring mine in for recall repair on Thursday.

Dealer letter attached with instructions. Pretty easy to inspect yourself, I just looked at mine and everything seems in order.

Seems like most dealers are on this one pretty quick, mine included. Going to take in after Thanksgiving.

Just for shits and giggles, I went through all my recalls for my VIN (My2022 - Blend date 01/05/22).

7 recalls now plus one "Customer Satisfaction Program", which was for the Heat Exchanger debacle, which was replaced twice. Should have been a recall, but whatever.

7 recalls in 4 years. Yeah, some were minor, but still. Only outstanding one now is 25S75, fuel pump failure. Hopefully, Ford solves that sooner than later.

Should update this. Had to get a state inspection (4 months overdue) and they did the air deflector recall. Which all they do is check it and if the clips are in, it passes.

The dealer inspected mine and said it was good to go: "Vehicle passes recall, wind deflector is secured and is not damaged or missing hardware."
