Howdy all! My truck didn’t come with fog lights for the factory and I wanted to add some. I decided I’d just get some SAE rigid 360 fogs and come up with a way to mount them. But I was hoping to just install a OEM wiring harness and replace the OEM headlight switch for one that has a fog light switch.

Hooked up everything, and changed what’s needed in forscan and they don’t work.
I’m wondering if my truck didn’t come with a relay or a fuse that I need to get them to work?
Would love some help on this!

Wish I could help you with your fogs but I can't. Any chance you can share how you installed your tremor skid plate? Your truck looks good, fogs, winch, and skid plate set it off.

The skid plate install was fairly easy! Just took a little bit of custom cutting. I simply ordered the skid plate kit off of fords accessory website when it’s was on sale. The kit is for a 21-23 f150 so it comes with a bunch of trim parts you won’t use. You obviously need to remove the active air dam, then I cut the fixed plastic air dam at the 90° angle. Then I bolted up the skid plate and cut along the plastic trim where front edge of the skid plate meets the lower bumper trim. It’s not perfect by any means but it looks perfect unless you look under the truck.

Update: luckily my local dealership had a OEM fog in-stock. Went and bought it just to trouble shoot. Plugged it in and the thing turned on just fine. I figured out the polarity on my H11 to deutsch adapters were reversed, or the polarity on the H11 plugs were reversed. Either way swapped the pins around and the rigids are working now!

Did you get any warning messages after removing the active air dam? I see some people keep the motors connected after removing it, wondering if it’s necessary on the 24s.

No warning message on the dash. I think in forscan there’s error message that has to do with it, but otherwise the truck doesn’t complain. I removed the air dam stuff on my 23 work truck, and haven’t had any pop up on that either.
