Fog light housing removal

Has anyone removed the fog light housing? I'm trying to remove the lower valance and I believe that the fog light housing is blocking access to three nuts that need to be remove so that the housing can drop.

Fog lights are an absolute pain the get out, you have to remove the bumper. Look at diode dynamics they have a video on YouTube installing there fog pocket kit. It shows almost everything!
