Hello,

New memeber here. I have an f150 xlt fx4 and plan to do a fox 2.0 leveling kit. I wonder how many of you adjusted headlights after a lift? Is it hard to do? Thanks in advance

Absolutely, yes. If you don't, you will lose visibility close to the hood, and also blind oncoming drivers, especially those in sports cars like the Mustang. Having them adjusted professionally is the best way.

I’ll be installing a ReadyLift 2” leveling kit next weekend. I have halogen headlights so this weekend I’ll be marking my headlights on my garage wall to adjust them after the leveling kit is installed.

Please adjust your headlights. EVERY owner's manual that I have EVER had, tells you how. But, apparently only 1% do it. Lifted trucks are either blinding me from behind, or deafening me from the front with a loud azz pos exhaust. I'm being punished for having loud motorcycles when I was younger, lol.

From what I've heard, Lariat and above auto adjust. Supposedly, all you have to disconnect the ground on the battery before leveling the truck. Can anyone confirm this?

I have the auto adjusting. I marked mine on the garage door before I pulled out my rear blocks and compared to after. The lights were in the same place. I would imagine if you went to like a 3 or 6 inch maybe it couldn't compensate that much.

There’s instructions in the manual, it’s really easy and only takes a few minutes and a wall to park in front of. Took me a couple mins

Let me dig around for a sec on this question. I know you have to be 25 feet from a wall/garage door. I also know there is a height measurement for the main beam.

Be right back.

I've got the quad LEDs and after installing my 2.5 inch level, I had to almost bottom out the headlights all the way down. I did this based off of putting up blue tape on my garage wall and matching before and after the level. I need to try the owners manual way but hard to find an area with a wall and flat space to do this.
