Adding sub to XLT - Just a ?

Looking to add this subwoofer to my truck:

Wanted to find out for those with additional sub installs where do you install your bass knob? I've been looking for an empty panel spot that if needed later can be replaced, but I haven't found a location that can work for this.

Does anyone have this JL Audio setup and care to share thoughts?

I did not. I played with the gain until I thought it was about right.

I replaced the cord hanger with this 3D printed plate and put my knob there. Sub is under passenger seat.
