Has anyone successfully added heated rear seats to a XLT? I found the list of hardware required in a Lariat thread here but I am still confused on how to connect the seats to the center console switches. I have a 24 302A.

Really am looking for the best way to connect the hardware Jesse-Infotainment posted here on an XLT without the pre-wired harness already in place. I presume once I open up the center console there won't be any wiring for the switches in place since it was not an option on the XLT.

Following that thread so far I think I am right on track for everything needed for the rear seats and switch. I am lost at the connection point between the center console and rear seats. In the list I noticed this harness;

MU2Z-14S411-SA (WPT-1687) - Pigtail for the connector to rear seat harness (List Price $59.55)

List price at the time was $59 and now MSRP seems to have gone to $263.64 ($163.56 on sale). So for the $100 more, is it better to find the center console harness that has been talked about in that thread that is already wired up? Does it even exist for a XLT? I have NO clue how to even go about finding one using the "Find a common VIN + Feature you want method." :-(

I was able to find the diagrams I needed on another forum.

Wiring from the module to the switch looks pretty easy, Guess I need to figure out if there is a harness for the back of the switches. Then where to tap for the BCM and BJB connections to the rear seat module.

I am thinking of instead of paying $160 for MU2Z-14S411-SA I will just splice in the connections in the rear harness. Still might see if there is a harness for the Lariat that has all the connections I need that will work on the XLT.

Do you happen to have that diagram by chance?

I've been kicking this idea around, and while I'm 90% confident in what is what, I have a few question marks. Would love to see your diagram.

Did you ever move forward with this project on your truck?

I have not done it yet, I am just missing the harness between the switches and the controller. The harness is super expensive so I have not gotten that yet. I also am missing the link on how to get the power and illumination signal.

Here is where I found the diagrams..

Let me know if you complete this project and have some answers for the blanks.

This is now on my list of things to add to my truck. Harnesses are very easy to build once you know what size pins and connectors to buy. DigiKey is a good source for harness connector parts.
