What ones are the easy mode changes? All i see is a list of the asbuilt changes or am i miss interpreting the easy mode portion.
In my sheet if the typical value change is highlighted green it can be an easy mode change, if not you need to go into the asbuilt to change the values.

Any one disconnect batteries for install? I know i will to remove the airbags but for the harness or bumper removal?
I didn't disconnect the battery when I did the ccm and harnesses install. If it makes you feel more comfortable with it do it! After taking the grille and bumper off, it's super straightforward and not as hard as I thought it'd be.

I offered $220 for a new OEM CCM with both brackets on eBay and the seller accepted... so now I am committed.

I checked and my XL does not have the 4 wires needed at IPMA, so I will need to run them from C265 on passenger side to IPMA on drivers side.

I haven't disconnected C265 yet to check for CCM wires on the inside yet. Can I check at the bumper harness connector instead for these 4 terminals?

Hi all! I appreciate all the guidance in this thread to add the adaptive cruise control. After checking the harnesses and buying the new harness for the bumper, new left button, and sensor, I was able to make the install in about 4 hours including eating lunch.
After using forscan and updating the new values, I was not able to see the CCM module. I was able to see all the new menu items and thought it was cool to see the speed limit sign option appear on speedometer.

was there something I missed that made the CCM not populate?

Did you restart the truck and scan for a new profile or did you reload the current profile on forscan?

Yes, make sure to once you make all the forscan changes, reconnect to forscan and do a fresh scan, do no load from a profile since you added a new module.

99% sure you won't have anything prewired, so will just need to run a harness straight from the CCM to the IPMA connector.

Hi! I appreciate the hint to let Forscan rescan the modules.
This is my first time using Forscan and doing any type of work on my 2022 F150 Powerboost.

Now that everything is where it should be, I am stuck on the calibration portion. I clicked on the wrench and received the notice to disable the stop-start and drive over 30 mph and everything should be completed in 5 -15 minutes.
After hitting the beloved ok button, the log stated the calibration was in process. There were no indicators on the truck console, but I drove at t least 35 minutes, the first time and there were no indications the calibration was in process.

I started over and started driving for about 20 minutes. I thought I may have input the wrong data into the ECU, so I brought everything back to stock and had no error codes. I attempted a second loading to restart the process and everything was fine until the calibration started.

I am not sure what to do next to calibrate and enjoy the acc function. Right now, I have left all the truck's ECU alone and closed out the three errors when I drive my truck. Also, the brake hold feature does not work when I come to a stop.

Can you think of anything I may have missed?

Double check you copied the vin from the IPMA to the CCM correctly. That's where I'd start if the ccm shows on forscan but the calibration doesn't start at all.

You will see the progress bar go when you are doing the CCM calibration in forscan, it should take about 5 minutes or so once you are driving down the road above the defined speed. You will also see a message in the cluster as well. If you don't see any of this, double check all the changes required. You shouldn't see any additional error messages when you fire it up if everything was changed correctly.

Has anyone bothered with trying to replicate the “Assist” functionality with what I assume is some BLISS sensors up front? I haven’t seen folks getting more than the radar and harness (give or take some parking sensor references) so I’m curious if we could get all the way to what was originally in the package, at least the 22 package I ordered and had deleted.

Called Co-Pilot Assist 2.0, it adds advanced driver assistance features.

The features offered by this addition are even more spectacular. They include traffic sign recognition, which makes driving more enjoyable.

Additional features include:

  • Intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop-start capability
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Speed sign recognition
  • Steering assistance during evasive maneuvers
  • Intersection assistance
  • Navigation system with touch screen and voice command

Hey @Oakstone , Yes, see post #816. I started with 302A with Nav account (not chip) and 360 cameras. I added only the ACC radar and made the applicable changes throughout this thread. I have tested Intelligent ACC with start/stop, LKA and LC, Speed Sign Recognition and of course NAC but Intersection assistance and steering assistance during evasive maneuvers I have not tested, or been tested for them.

Yeah, I've definitely seen all the references to the ACC, LKA, LC, Speed sign etc. and I will get most of that working with the radar/harness, except for the connected nav stuff for speed sign since my IPMA doesn't support that.

But the "intersection assistance and steering assistance during evasive maneuvers" is something I'd think would need more sensors up front, particularly thinking of the intersection assistance. I assume two sensors similar to what's in the tail lights for cross-traffic alert would need to be installed/configured?

Well picked up all 3 parts needed to complete this from the dealer today for a grand total of $642. Just gotta wait for warmer weather or somewhere indoors to install it since the temp went from 68 and sun to 28 and snow into tomorrow, then back up to the 60’s. Will update when complete or if i have other questions.
