Just to clarify not looking for Active with autonomous driving, just the active cruise control.
I think every man has the ability to add "Co-Pilot Assistant" to their truck. Just open the passenger door for wife and you are good to go!!!

"Turn left up here.... Slow down!.... Oooooh a garage sale, pull over!.... I want a smoothie, go to the coffee shop..... Dont race another Challenger!..."

I cant say mine was free... Im still making monthly payments on mine after 22 years.

I screwed up my order

I came to work to find a “your vehicle is scheduled for production” email. My excitement faded when I figured out, I did not get the adaptive cruise I wanted. At the end of the day, I signed the sheet, so the fault is mine. Now I have to figure out what to do about it.

Granger is checking to see if it can be added, but I’m not holding my breath. Nor do I really want the stuff that you have to buy to get it. It adds almost 2k to the price.

The truck I have on order is an XLT 302A with the regular Co-pilot360 2.0. My order sheet is here https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...acking-list-stats-enter-yours.206/post-361976

I have no desire to own the truck without adaptive cruise.

I have read through this 47 page thread but I can’t seem to find a consensus on how hard this is to do. It seems if I’m lucky I only need the CCM, maybe a harness and a switch. Any way to know for sure before I get my truck? If they can’t change the build I’m thinking about just forfeiting the deposit. Of course that will make it a 3000 dollar cruise control plus any other random price increases that pop up.

If the upgrade is strait forward enought I might just do it myself and avoid the extra's

Thanks for the help.

I feel your pain. I ordered my '21 and screwed up as you did. They sent me the order form and it wasn't on there and I missed it. The naming was pretty confusing, I got the Camera 360 and lane keeping, but not lane centering or adaptive cruise. I went ahead and got the truck and figured I would get those options next time as I trade every 3-4 years. While I miss it and will certainly get Blue Cruise on my '24, I must say that the truck overall has been fantastic. If you can wait and afford it I would get what you want. You don't want to spend years without the features.

When we bought one of our explorers they didn't have one in the color I wanted and I was about to get what they had in stock, but my wife pulled me aside and told me that she knew me well enough that I would regret getting something I wasn't happy with just because I wanted instant gratification. I ended up taking her advice and waiting and can't tell you how many times I think back and thank her for talking sense into me. :)

All of that being said, our Explorer has the adaptive cruise and lane centering, but that just make me yearn for Blue Cruise. :)

It just dawned on me that Ford could have kept a lot of the $$ it was charging for Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 if it just allowed Sync to use Carplay or Android Auto speed data from those maps. The connected Nav removal would have been moot then. It could have simply had a system change to read the API of the maps from your phone. Wonder if that's something the smarty pantses in this forum could figure out... ;)

All my stress was for naught. Granger was able to change my order. I agree the details of the cruise packages are clear as mud. The fact that you have to get a trailer tow package to get adaptive cruise is ridiculous. I They make the cars they make the rules.

Awesome! Glad you got everything working that easy. Not too many with 23's have done it yet so glad everything is all the same and getting nav back makes things work much better and like they should.
@superfordman , I can also confirm from picture A below to picture B today on '23 PB XLT 302A BAP with paid NAV service. All thanks in no small part to you, @Jesse-Infotainment , and of course @Livnitup . If you are ever in SoCal hit me up, I'm buying the beers.

Tested all but collision avoidance, with foot hovering over brake pedal on some. :p

Alas, I am like @Snakebitten , hands on the wheel so this is as far as I go. Except now I gotta figure out how to install the button without actuating the airbag. Suggestions?

It's super easy, just check out my video on how to get the airbag out, then you take two screws out for the trim piece pop it out, swap the switch around, put it all back, make the changes for the correct left swift in the SCCM, and good to go.

Thanks again @superfordman . Anybody need my old switch?

Just read though this and I’m wondering if anyone can help guide me on what I need to get acc in a 2022 lariat powerboost with 360 cam. Do I just need ML3T-14G647-NA and the steering wheel pice?

@Sandy712 You will need the cruise control module that goes into the bumper (along with the mount and necessary hardware), possibly a new bumper harness to connect to the cruise control module and the left side steering wheel buttons if you want to change the distance setting via the steering wheel. Also, confirm that you have the correct wiring from the IPMA to the bumper harness. I would expect that you do since you have a Lariat with the 360 cameras, but it's always a good idea to verify.

How would I find out if I need a new harness and what harness would I need?

If you have front parking sensors then you will need the -NA harness. Since you have the 360 cameras, you’re likely wired from the bumper to the IPMA, but it’s easy to check by pulling off the left side dash panel and reaching in and unplugging the middle plug to check for wires at the plug, like below (brown w/ purple tracer, green w/ white tracer, white w/ blue tracer). If you’re missing wires at positions 9, 18, 19, 20 then you’ll have to pin those and run them to the CCM.

A lot of info is in this thread so if you have questions, try searching for some of the keywords like IPMA or part numbers to get additional details on what others have done.

@Rineland Thanks for that. I went through this whole thread and kind of just got lost. I have all the wires needed on the Ipma so I’m gonna go for it and make the order. I hope I’m able to get everything going once it arrives, and I’m glad to have this thread and everyone in it for assistance.
