Adding a power seat question for the guys that have done it?

What do you recommend using then?
Easiest thing would be unwrapping the harness just behind the female connector on the seat. Use an parallel splice with heat shrink and run power/ground to the passenger side under the carpet. Size it for a 30A circuit.

If the Lariat seat has the driver seat module it won't work. You "might" get away with swapping the seat harness and buttons with a 10 way non-memory version. The passenger seat harness is the same except for the addition of an occupancy sensor. You'd still need new buttons since those are different.
I kind of understand what you are saying… but I am really a total novice at all this. Any chance you can dumb it down with pics? If this is any help, I have put together a pic showing my seat harness and my floor harness …. The connectors and how they look. Attaching it. Thanks buddy !!!

Yes, you are correct. The driver seat does have the seat memory module.
