Add adaptive cruise on stx

First off I want to be sure I'm even asking for the right thing.
Adaptive cruise control is where it'll slow down to same speed as vehicle in front of you when using cruise right??
If so is it possible to add just that to an stx and how entailed is it since I am not tech savvy like that at all.
It has the lane centering which I don't use but I'd like to add JUST the adaptive part to slow down to speed of vehicle in front of me.
My work tacoma base model has this and I like it.

The short answer is Yes...

The long answer is much more complicated...

Ford calls this ACC, or adaptive cruise control I believe. There is a big long thread on the forum already that describes in great detail how to do this. If you search for adding ACC you should find it.

Just to be clear, you have Lane keeping, not lane centering. Lane keep warns and attempts to nudge you back if you drift. Lane entering actively keeps you centered and borderline self drives the truck as long as you keep yours hands on the wheel.

Just a FYI as you read more as it tends to come up when concerning ACC.

O yes your right I have the lane keeping. I haven't had time to start reading it all yet ... it's alot. Lol.
