The block heaters are an extra when building Canadian trucks as well. I didn't opt for it as I haven't had to plug a vehicle in forever and live in BC so didn't see the need.

Ya. You are correct. Gave my window sticker another look and no block heater listed as an option or included. ? Pretty lame for a 80;000 dollar plus truck not to have one included when going north of the 49th. for delivery.
