this is my wonder as well. I think you get an orange light that kinda looks like a lightning bolt? I've seen that once or twice on mine.

That one is "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available". Usually not a hardware or configuration issue; it's usually the windscreen camera ccd becoming over-saturated by direct sun, heavy rain etc.this is my wonder as well. I created a thread regarding this issue just before the forum meltdown (this forum went down for a couple days due to a database error) and it was deleted. I didn't want to rewrite everything - as it was a doozy, but now this thread is gaining some more eyes I will write a quick summary:
I've had this Adaptive Predictive Speed Assist Not Available warning since day one of having my truck. (Sept 2024). My first photo of the dash and the error was at a whopping 364 km (225mi).
Getting the dealer to do anything, has been taxing. Finally, after a ride along with the service manager and shop foreman, they finally agree something is wrong.
The issue is, the truck freaks out with speed sign recognition or built in GPS not relaying information to the cruise control system, and then it takes out lane centering and each time you set, resume, or change the speed - it will give you the major warning sound (I call it major, as it goes BONG BONG BONG) vs the small DING for a lane keep temporary cancel when it cant find the lines for a moment. (intersection / snow). To stop this from happening - you can turn the truck on and off or press power and fast forward on the head unit, and the second the screen turns off and restarts, the lane centering comes back and setting / resuming speed no longer causes the issue. When I had blue cruise, it disables the lane changing feature.
The dealer has changed my IPMA module 3x, one time it didn't code and came DOA, and the other 2 times I'm not sure why.. They have even replaced the APIM module which is $$$. The truck still does it. Countless visits, updates, and even ford Canada field engineer can't figure it out. Over 1 year now, I have basically given up on this error. It's so frustrating - using cruise control is just a chore and the error warnings, beeps and visual orange boxes on the dash just drive me up the wall.
