@Livnitup I installed a ACM from a '23 F150 with HD radio and Sirius into a '23 F250 but having issues. Kept getting communication lost with ECM/PCM DTC code. The radio would come on and the HD radio worked fine. The Sirius icon showed but would not display the Sirius screen until either DTC clear (which the code always came back) or it would timeout and finally display the Sirius channels after a few minutes. Any suggestions?
Did you program a 23 F250's ACM asbuilt values to it from probably a Lariat+ model? If not, then try that. I'm not sure if the F250 ACM connector has the same pinout as the F150 but try the asbuilt first.

Do you have to use an ACM module of the same year?

I have 2023 but I found an ACM module with HD Radio from a 2022 F150 for a good price

The one I used worked... sorta. It kept throwing a code for lost communication and locked up when I tried to access Sirius. After a few changes, it did access better and even recognized the antenna being connected but never got it right. I'll try one from a '23+ F250 next. The OP used his from a F150 and later sent me a screenshot of the settings he used... after I put the original one back. lol

I have a 23 F350 that I changed out with an ACM from a 21 F150 with HD and Sirius XM. I finally got it to show the Sirius option. However, every time you click the option for Sirius, the audio shuts off. Not sure what I have set up wrong, or do I have an ACM that is not compatible with the truck?

I rec'd this file from djcwardog. Might want to check your settings versus this one. Keep me posted.

Interesting discussion. I think it would be fascinating if the Audio Control Module (ACM) includes the HD radio functionality on my truck, which too is a 302A XLT standard radio. I'd enable it if the ACM supports it. Was I surprised that my F150 standard radio didn't have HD radio? Yes, I was surprised. My 2011 Ford Fusion SEL has HD Radio and I thought it would be standard equipment 10 years later. Tells you how much I know.

The Star Trek Logic in me thinks Ford would would tell their ACM vendor that they want a non HD radio ACM for their standard radio so that Ford would pay their ACM vendor less. My guess is most Ford F150's are not B&O systems.

That said, HD/FM/AM (in that order), would be my last choice for listening to radio. Internet Radio with a free radio app like TuneIn does the same thing better in almost every way using Android Auto/Apple Car Play. You can pick 1000's of radio stations over thousands of miles unlike broadcast RF Radio where you only get about 12 miles of range with HD radio before it jumps to analog quality. For FM, the range is probably no better than 30 miles.

I think radio of the future is internet IP based, not RF based.
I use TuneIn but I prefer the HD radio in our Outback Touring XT. Not enough to pay $600 though ??‍♂

Now I can get the Sirius XM to open but keep getting an antenna problem. I checked the antenna and connections all are good.
The antenna connection under the radio in the dash does not have an actual antenna connection on the roof. I believe the cable is there providing connections at each end. I used one from Amazon and it recognized almost immediately.

Using one I got from amazon think it might be bad. I have several but only the one I got from Amazon has the farka plug on it.

Was there any settings to change for antennas?

I don't think so. I do remember when connecting the antenna, the error message went away almost immediately. I used one from Amazon with the magnetic/sticky base.

What did you do to get it working and not shutting off when selecting Sirius? Do you have the part number for the ACM from the '21?

Ford F-150 Active HD Radio using ForScan? 1721786897595-0r
Here is the settings that I used that finally worked.
APIM: 7D0-01-01
XX8X-XXXX-XXXX
Leave the rest the same and make that a 8 (But I needed to also edit to add in HD radio, see below)

From digging in further here and on Cyanlabs, it appears that the SXM tuners are “pre-X40 SDARS” or just “X40 SDARS”. I think that refers to the the 360L feature (so that’s an X40 SDARS?) we see on the latest vehicles with Sirius XM. I found this detail on the web: ““Ford has a long history as one of America’s favorite automotive brands and we are excited to be introducing SiriusXM with 360L in 2021 model year Ford vehicles with SYNC 4, beginning with the all-new Ford F-150,” Mike Heinonen, VP, Automotive Partnerships, for SiriusXM said in a release.”

So I guess all our vehicles with Sync 4 and Sirius XM have the 360L version?

The APIM requires coding in one and possibly another place now? Livinitup has helped us all by maintaining a great spreadsheet that I found here at the cyanlabs forum.

7D0-01-01. As-built coding was 0801-0002-8064. I edited it to read 2884-0802-8064. (Used the xxxx-x8xx-xxxx for “X40 SDARS”)

7D0-03-03. As-built coding was 0000-0000-00DD. That “0” means ”No SDARS or X40 Chipset”. I had to change that 0 to 2 which means “TSDARSC x2” with other choices of 4,6,8,A,C and E all “reserved”. Line now edited to read 0000-0002-00DD

I resolved my presets-inop issue once I looked at the APIM under “module configuration” and changed things: mixed mode presets to “5” and auto store / presets mode to “disabled/mixed mode”.
This is what djcwardog had posted.

The ACM is ML3T 18K810 FEE
Here is the adapter I used that finally worked https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07252FDFD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
I also used a sirius xm antenna that came with one of my portable units that I use to have.

I tried two of these and no luck. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071NN751H?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
