Just push buttons for 87, 89, 91, and 93 or 94 in my area.Does Sunoco still have the dial for choosing octane levels like they used to have?
Yes, here is a photo from gulf which is listed as a Top Tier, but nothing on the pump and not on station finder. My assumption is that it is location dependent and not brand dependent.I regularly use the Top Tier "Station Finder" when traveling to new locations. However, I have found some gas station locations listed didn't have the the "Top Tier" sticker on any of the pumps.Make's me wonder if it is an "Independent vs Franchise" thing (i.e., certain national brand stations can choose not to use "Top Tier" based on what type of contract they have or their location). It might also be due to the fact that most of these stations I have visited seem to have older looking pumps, are out in rural/small population areas or the owners/attendants were just too lazy to put the sticker on.
well, all these gas stations are franchises so they may not actually have the top-tier fuelYes, here is a photo from gulf which is listed as a Top Tier, but nothing on the pump and not on station finder. My assumption is that it is location dependent and not brand dependent.

And most people won’t notice the difference. But I’m not willing to risk something costing more the my first house over a few pennies a gallon, when engine experts have shown the wear differences. We all have to make the call on what’s important.I have run Beacon gas for years no problems. Now they are union 76. Last truck had over 100,00 miles no problem. My corolla had 297,000 on it. Never a fuel issue. Just fill it up and go.
