Is 4 gals out of the 36gal tank set aside for reserves? I took mine down to to the point where my DTE was 15 miles and it only took about 31.75 gals. Seems like quite a bit of reserve. Just curious if that's posted somewhere in the documentation.

I have zero confidence in the accuracy of the DTE number. After filling the 36-gal tank and a mileage reset I usually see 545 miles DTE. I can run DTE to zero and the tank fill has never been more than 32 gals.

Yep, you can drive for a while with DTE at 0.

From what I've read last generations ran out of fuel on a slight hill with the 36 gallon tank due to where the pump is located. So the Ford fix was to adjust with a much higher reserve in tank.
