My Platinum (701A reduced calorie) with 7.2 PB is sitting at 966 rows. I haven't really tracked this to know how many lines it has grown since blend date (8/11). Hell, maybe the count went down from Ford cannibalizing my parts so they can complete trucks going down the line.

Ford shouldn't be scheduling a single MY23 in KR,Plat,Limited trims until our trucks get all the missing modules. But I see they are doing just that.
Yeah it makes absolutely no sense that they would be scheduling trucks for a completely new model year and there are at least 700+ trucks still waiting for parts.

Welp; according to the Ford Tracker my truck was built yesterday and is awaiting shipment. Forward progress boys and girls; hopefully you are all close behind.
Mine now has a "built date" of 9/20, but the box isn't checked:
Ford F-150 8/8/2022 Build Week 1663767905003

I haven't received any email notification about a change in status yet. I also tried to log on to the modules page today, but it seems to be down (as well as the OrderTrack app), so I don't know if they've added any further modules since yesterday.

Absolutely pissed and fed up with Ford. DaVonya from the executive office emailed me this morning that my hold has been extended until 10/1-10/7. How they are getting trucks built make no sense.

Blows my mind how other powerboost trucks ordered later and blend date later are getting built and shipped.

I'm there with you Moc cock 8. Emily from chat made it a point to tell me my truck was not on a chip hold, but a chip delay this past Monday. VVR from the dealer clearly states 'Micro Chip At Plant On Hold'.

Ford's press release about 40K - 45K unfinished vehicles may have pushed me over the edge.

Yours might be further back in the parking lot and inaccessible, so they need to get those others (newer ones) out of the way before they can reach yours?? I guess it's also possible that there's something specific about your options that is stuck somewhere (though that's more unlikely).

You and me are in the same boat. No idea how this can happen! Maybe it’s because I have such a good deal locked in.

I have a platinum build with nothing special added. Those trucks have gotten out.

As annoying as it is, this isn't unique to Ford. All manufacturers seem to be having these problems.
Ongoing Chip Shortage Forces GM to Park 95,000 Nearly Finished Vehicles (motortrend.com)

Edit: I also saw an article yesterday that noted that most of Ford's unfinished vehicles are not due to chips, but to other components. That might be why you all are getting conflicting information about the nature of the plant holds--perhaps it's a missing dashboard that may or may not have a chip, and the internal messaging is getting a bit garbled between the line and the customer service reps? Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the article again to post it.

you're joking, right? So maybe we get delivery in November after MY23 rubber is already on the road.

Hilarious, right? Same woman tried to tell me it might have to do with dealer allotment. She works in the Ford executive office. No wonder Ford is losing billions of dollars.

I've been talking with her as well, she hasn't responded to me in a week so might have to follow up on some of my other questions. I was bumped from 9/12-18 to 9/26-10/2, so I'm expecting to join your dates any time now.

And I've been seeing some dealership trucks being finished through their websites, and some lots are filling up from what I've seen around. It doesn't look like there is a ton of movement on those trucks, as I'm sure they will likely sit with their huge markups and increasing rates. I don't see any benefit to Ford finishing dealer ordered trucks that no one wants to pay "market adjustment" prices for when they could just finish the trucks people ordered and actually want. I guess it doesn't affect Ford manufacturing either way since the dealerships are paying them for any vehicles being sent, so they're just finishing builds as the luck (unluck?) of the draw.
