So there is a lot of powerboosts being scheduled for 10/17 on the my23. I sure do hope they decide to finish ours first. This is getting to be a little frustrating waiting while I see others being finished. I am glad to see some powerboosts from later weeks getting finished. Would like to see some from this build week though. Good luck everyone

Just talked with one of the Ford executive ladies about trucks ordered and built after ours seeing movement. It's all bs and Ford has no rhyme or reason to how the process works. She even tried to bring up dealer allotment.

Allotment has nothing to do with it. That has to do with scheduling. I have a lot of family in the car business. I ordered from my brother who runs 13 dealers. He has seen this all for about 2 years. They are a high volume dealer and there allotments are huge. They know about as much as us. I actually called him last week to see if he can get any extra info. He knows as much as I did. It was kinda funny and sad.

It is hard to find a entity that is more inept and clueless than the Federal Government. I think Ford is trying hard for that crown. The Feds have a advantage, they do not need to make a profit! Ford 1Q 2022 loss= 3.1 Billion, LOL.

I saw that too, and while I don't wish those guys the "bump train", I really wish Ford would do the right thing, and finish our trucks before starting to build next years model.

It’s not unreasonable to think that Ford uses parts to complete trucks and keep the line moving. Otherwise they would just keep filling up lots upon lots of incomplete trucks and have a nightmare of how to complete them all versus keeping the assembly line moving.

that being said….. they have to deal with the repercussions of pissing of us folks that get to sit in purgatory. In this situation, it’s not u reasonable to expect better communication from Ford.

So, I’ll give them some grace, but they violated that. Not sure if I’ll follow this order through, but am definitely giving other auto makers my money next time.

They should fill custom orders first and then fill dealer orders that will just sit on lots with 10K markup

Well I just checked my modules this morning and now have 720's. Total number of modules lines went up to 1817 from 1789. Currently still in production status, but hopefully this is a good sign for us. It's forward progress so I'll take it.
Hey, I have 720 modules now, too! I had given up checking the modules report because nothing ever changed. I'm hoping that this means that I'm moving closer to the "built" stage. And I'm hoping that DTP received enough instrument panel cluster modules to complete everybody else's 720 modules as well, and clear out that backlog.

Edit: Mapping my modules to the list in the FORSCAN spreadsheet, it looks like I'm still missing several modules that I think I'm supposed to have on a 4x2 Powerboost (e.g., DC/DC Converter Module, Pedestrian Alert Control Module, Air Conditioning Control Module) as well as several that I think should probably not be included (All-Terrain Control Module, Transfer Case Control Module), plus a few that could go either way (e.g., Rear Gate Trunk Module--since I don't have the power raising tailgate, but it should have the tailgate release). Still, it's progress!

How about those who have a down payment on a dealer order to just watch it sit in production since March.?

I still have only 954 modules populated. No movement from the last time I check a couple weeks ago. Dealer knows nothing, Ford knows nothing. I have always been a fan of Ford trucks and mustangs and this has been my first opportunity to purchase one. Not a great first impression at all... Was going to put an order in on the new mustang too but I'm sure by the time that comes in we'll have flying cars and it'll be obsolete . Ford must really want me to become a GM stan

How many module lines do you have populated?

My Platinum (701A reduced calorie) with 7.2 PB is sitting at 966 rows. I haven't really tracked this to know how many lines it has grown since blend date (8/11). Hell, maybe the count went down from Ford cannibalizing my parts so they can complete trucks going down the line.

Ford shouldn't be scheduling a single MY23 in KR,Plat,Limited trims until our trucks get all the missing modules. But I see they are doing just that.
