You guys with the XLT's that are shipping; do you have the 720 modules? Last I read those have to do with the instrument clusters and I know the Lariats and above have digital dashes so I'm wondering if that's where the potential issues are?

Wondering that too but I've seen previous Platinums with the 720 also. However, chat still says I'm produced and no hold. I wonder if you only get moved to built status after you've been scheduled for shipping.

Btw the time in status has been fixed on ordertrack. It's actually the amount of time you've been in that step of the build. So I was invoiced & window sticker on 8/2 so that many days since then. Then when built status it'll change and so on.

They built a 502A Lariat on Monday with the 720's. Hopefully that means they can backfill shortly.

Fingers crossed; it still a little nerve racking looking up on the order track app and seeing the " Similar Vehicles in Status " continue to go up. I know we'll eventually will get them but my locked trade-in value is about to expire

I sure hope it was a big allotment of chips/modules they received because Ford will prioritize the line over our trucks to avoid shutting down the line. I know my excitement reserves are pretty much dry. Between my truck in production/produced limbo and a bathroom remodeling I'm tapped out.

It's ridiculous how Ford doesn't prioritize older orders first. Just random luck.

My understanding is 4-digit tear tag is posted when your build has its PCM (Powertrain Control Module).

Well.....just to pour salt in our wounds. A co-worker ordered a Jeep Gladiator on Aug 11th. He got his "Built and awaiting shipment" email today. I wouldn't be caught dead driving a Gladiator....at least there's that.

That is my understanding after talking to Marketing HQ CSR.... won't see Built status until some move is made toward shipping the thing.
