I was scrolling thru later build week threads and seen a few of those trucks are in transit already, at least one of them was a Lariat powerboost, very similar to my build.

It is a shame that ford is not following a first to order first to ship kind of deal, and finishing out "chip hold" trucks, instead of putting the chip in one rolling down the line and sending it straight on out the door.

Ford should not have scheduled build of a customer ordered truck if they did not have all parts available to build them with. That way our builds wouldn't be sitting in lots for weeks w/o end waiting on parts.
Really frustrated watching trucks ship in the weeks after ours. I have had stock orders that were built after mine in Dearborn get shipped and show up at my dealer at this point.

I'm not giving up on my truck. It was specced by me, built for me. If it follows the mold of my current truck, I'll have it for 15 years and a quarter of a million miles. We'll cross the country multiple times. Maybe even get up to Alaska. For once in my life, I am getting MY truck, my way, to my specifications... and maybe I'm going to have to wait a couple of months more than I wanted, but it's MY truck and nobody else's... no one else is getting it, and when they finally find a chip for it and get it down to my dealer, the waiting's going to be worth it.

That's exactly how I feel too! Although I was fortunate enough to have mine shop already (likely because it's a 3.0L diesel. Which is also the reason a dealer stock or 2022 wasn't an option for me) had I not been lucky though, I would have waited for MY truck built exactly how I want. I'm spending too much to settle.

I'm speaking from a position of frustration I guess. My truck is also configured a bit unique for me. It's a fully loaded Lariat with the split bench for all my kids. Maybe we will all get lucky and Ford will offer some great incentives on the 21's after the 15th when the 22 order book opens. We can hope!

That's the boat I'm in - 3.0 diesel. So I'm waiting, and hoping they build it. Ordered 7/15. Was scheduled for 9/19, now week of 10/25. I have a VIN so hopefully that means I'm in the clear.

It'll get built. I'm surprised they didn't already, is it a kc build?

No, it's Dearborn I believe. No window sticker yet to say where its built but I think all the powerstrokes are Dearborn. Otherwise it's a pretty basic XLT supercrew 302a rapid red with tan interior. Just the way I want it!

Your VIN will tell you also where it’s built. Second to last letter. F for Dearborn. K for KC

never mind. Already posted. Lol

Any movement at all on any of our trucks? Been a quiet week with Dearborn operating @33% and KC 0%.
After being built 8/7 and showing in transit since 8/10, palsapp shows my truck finally dispatched out of KC today. We'll see in the next couple days.

Well, I know you said you were going to stop checking the trackers obsessively, and I said I'd be doing the same :)

Maybe I am checking the trackers less, but I know I'm looking at this thread a lot more now instead :D
