Well, I know you said you were going to stop checking the trackers obsessively, and I said I'd be doing the same :)

Maybe I am checking the trackers less, but I know I'm looking at this thread a lot more now instead :D
Football has been a good distraction....

Fully expecting new ETAs this week for all of us on chip hold. Any predictions when they will post updates?

I'll guess that they will update Thursday and give us all a 9/30 ETA. Then repeat again in 2 more weeks, who knows.

I keep looking at dealer stock within a 500 mile radius. Have thought about calling on a few of them, but really hate to settle on something. Really need my truck for a 2 week trip in October, but figured I'll hold out a little longer in hopes things will all work out.

My other thought is to just go ahead and get a dealer stock '21, and assuming things stay the same for some time to come, reorder a '22 and trade the "settled for" truck back in when it shows up. Sounds like a lot of work though.

I hear ya. Been looking around at dealer stock here too. Found some equivalent builds but not going to spend $7-8k more than the invoice-pricing locked in on my retail order.

Thats the other part of it. There are a few dealers sprinkled around that offer discounts, but they're few and far between. You almost need to deep dive for deals and Google search each Ford dealership out, in each area, because some of them don't mass advertise their inventory on autotrader, cars.com, and the like. I certainly won't be paying more for a truck that I'm settling on.

My est delivery is tomorrow, and if the last 2 pushes are any hint, it will push 2 weeks for me tomorrow. Dealer hasn't gotten in touch with me since the last push back, so I don't know still if I'm on chip hold or not.

Good luck this week guys

Same. I'm expecting a 2 week push to show up today at some point.

For what it is worth, 5 new F-150s showed up at the dealership in town (not my dealer) the other day. 3 Tremors, an XLT and an STX. They were all built between 7/25 and 8/2, so hopefully we're just a week out or so from starting to get some movement on our trucks.

I found an interesting truck. Its a Powerboost that has a 3/16 production date but was completed and shipped 8/17, meaning that's when it got its missing chips. Dealer stock truck that took priority over ours basically. Its got all the same options as I ordered plus a few that I didn't, but its not a 157" wheelbase. They are priced $7500 under MSRP. Guessing that would include available rebates from the time it was ordered. I'm seeing where we are at with my trade, but giving up the 6.5' bed would certainly hurt.

Thats hard....the 6.5 bed is huge for me but might be worth the sacrifice to get something now. $7500 below MRSP is really good.

Exactly. If the numbers work, I'll have a tough decision to make. After having the 6.5 bed on my '20, I said I would never go back. Stress meter is pegged currently.

I don't want to add to your stress but I got 5.5ft bed on my '20 after having '16 with 6.5ft bed, I have regretted it most days since I have had the truck. When the opportunity arose to trade in my '20 for basically what we paid for it a year earlier I jumped at it. So I am still waiting for essentially the same spec truck but 6.5ft bed.

Well, finally got a response from my dealer. Vvr does show chip hold. They said sometimes the trucks just show up too tho.

I'll update again whenever the tracker updates.
