You like it? It’s the same one I ordered… if mine ever arrives… hahaIt's the factory hard tri-fold. I think it's really a Bakflip MX4 rebranded for Ford, from what I understand.
I was considering a levelling kit, but if it hits things that hard, maybe not :/Ok guys....Powerboost here and I have added a level and slightly larger tires. just fille up my truck for the first time and I am getting around 16.5 MPG. Thats a big hit so I filled it up with 91 and I will see what that does this week.
Fingers crossed for you. My palsapp showed "dispatched" on a Friday evening. It remained in "dispatched" until it arrived at the dealer the next morning. I am 230mi from Dearborn so, it was the only convoy leg required. It was my understanding "dispatched" means it's imminently loaded, is loaded, or in-transit on a truck.I'm taking this as an update , but I've never seen anyone else post with palsapp saying this.
Dispatched on Oct 11 2021
If that means shipped/in transit, may get to see it tomorrow as I'm only about 6 hrs from Dearborn.
Glad to see so many of you all have your long awaited trucks at home now. Best of luck to those still waiting in limbo!
Functionally, it's pretty solid. My first tonneau so, not much to compare to. It's beefy and sturdy. Kids have stood on it several times already. Could probably hold my weight (~200lbs) if needed. Release latches are quality built. Whole tonneau may require 2 ppl to remove it optimally. When folding it, by the 3rd fold, it is surprisingly heavier than it looks but totally manageable - someone with light strength may be challenged to fold it all the way up. Bed has remained mostly dry with some drips after a couple rains and one wash. You like it? It’s the same one I ordered… if mine ever arrives… haha
Thanks for the info. 340 miles away from me. May drive by the dealership when I get off work in the morning and see if its there ?Fingers crossed for you. FWIW I have used this on my convertible seals for years and seams to work well.Functionally, it's pretty solid. My first tonneau so, not much to compare to. It's beefy and sturdy. Aesthetically, I'd prefer a less-shiny, more-resilient paint on top but it is fine - minor nit. The paint is thin - already have a minor scuff/scratch revealing metallic coloring under the paint (probably from the kids crawling all over it). I'm more concerned about the longevity of the rubber seals over the years in the sun - will probably look into some kind of rubber revitalizer/protectant to be sure it lasts.
