Has anyone else noticed that the fans for the ventilated seats are REALLY loud on the high setting? Especially on the passenger side? If I bump it down one notch it's not really objectionable but "high" wears on my eardrums a bit too much.
My wife's 2021 CX-9 has ventilated seats and when they are on high they are pretty loud. Louder than one would one expect. The only time I run them on high is when I'm in the car by myself otherwise I keep them at medium or low.

Anyone know what this lever mechanism is used for? It sits between the frame and the leaf spring in the rear, on the driver's side. There is no complement component on the right side of the truck. Would imagine it could be used to detect how close the bed is to the shock/spring limit but, not sure why it would need to know that, and it is only on one side.

Hope this is correct - Info from "Suspension Question: What is this piece for?"

Thanks, wattdon. That makes a lot of sense. It is a 502a and it's clearly not load bearing. At first sight, my thought was a sensor for the onboard scale (did not order). I'll poke around a bit more to confirm ride height sensor.

Here it is !! Dealership was nice enough to deliver it to the fire station for me since I'm on duty today, I'll meet up with them for paperwork Friday morning..

Sharp truck. Sounds like you got a dealer who has their priorities straight too delivering it to the station. Thanks for what you do!

At the dealership now. Locked in my PCO, 0% financing, and custom order cash. Was dissapointed they only let me lock in the current $750 custom order cash and not the $1000 from time of order, but no big deal.

Also learned my truck is in Georgia! Ford tracker still doesn't have the checkmark for shipped or a date. Still null and pending in Palsapp. Truck currently sits about an hour from me - they tell me it should be about a week now.

Glad to hear you could secure your PCO and the 0% you were worried about on Sunday. The trip to the dealer today sounds like it paid off.

Mine came in yesterday. Having the dealer do some of the basic mods for me. Tint, install leveling struts, larger tires. So will be Saturday before I pick it up. I’ll post the after when I get it. But here is my before.

I had a very interesting call with my dealership today. I wanted to see about locking in the 0% and $1000 customer order cash, and see if i could get xplan applied (didnt know my employer was a participant in xplan when I ordered). They said there not participating in xplan right now. But as for the lock-in, they seemed to be OK with doing that.

They said ford emailed them in regards to current orders that are still pending or in process, and said they will allow any of those orders that get rolled over to a 2022 model to still get the 0% and $1000 order cash. I think that's great for those still waiting. The dealership also thinks Ford will extend the offer again because of all of the delays.

The real interesting part is they offered me $2,500 cash to walk away from the order... blew my mind. But, I know they would mark it up alot, and make more money off of it, which is what was explained to me as why they are not participating in xplan right now.

Its a tempting offer, but I have alot of add-ons waiting at the house for it. So there's that to consider.

Just wanted to share that info with the group.

One observation I made why I was at the dealer today - they had nearly 30 F-150s on the lot which was the most I had seen at any Ford dealership since I started shopping in April.

What I found interesting was that they were ALL either XL or XLT trucks. Most of them had the 2.7L, and more than a handful of them were supercabs. The most expensive truck they had was a $61k XLT.

Seems totally contrary to everything I've experienced so far, where lots with only one or two King Ranch or Platinum was the norm

sad, now that people are getting their trucks, this thread is dying out. /cry

Absolute shocker this morning though, my dealer just woke me up with a phone call to tell me my truck just arrived in Edmonton, and will be loaded onto a truck for delivery! /happydance

Won't be today, but, maybe I will have it Monday or Tuesday!
