Just to add, I finally got the built status/awaiting shipment today. Chat had told me for the past few weeks my truck was built with no microchip holds. I decided to reach out to chat today after seeing the status update and they gave me a similar status to the post above. "Built awaiting shipment eta 8/14-8/19 micro chip hold". Then chat told me the truck is fully built. Sigh, the wait sucks but the lack of clarity is way worse. I am juggling trying to lock in a finance rate, shipping the truck from granger and selling my old truck and I have no idea if I will get the new truck in 3 days or 3 months.

Last I spoke with my dealer about 10 days ago, ETA was 8/13-8/19, didn't mention anything about a hold. Still don't have any modules populated, so my guess is I'm also on a chip hold. Blend date was 7/15. Seems like I'll be very lucky if I get the truck before September.

Ford drives me nuts with the ETA dates.
The first time I checked with the Ford chat they said my truck should arrive at the dealer on 7.22.22 so I advertised my truck and sold it the very next day....little did I know that my truck was still going to be in production a month later.
I really do not mind the wait but if Ford had been honest about the timeline on my truck I would have never sold my truck until the new truck was in my driveway.
The modules populated on my truck the day after the blend date, the activate button appeared on Ford Pass and the Tear Tag code appeared on the tracking page. Not sure why you would not be showing any modules populated a month later.
The only thing I know for sure is that Ford changes ETA dates about as often as I change socks....LOL
I would think until you have modules populated and your truck status is showing "built". I would not get excited about the ETA dates.

I've seen a few folks mention modules populated, how do you go about finding/seeing that info?

Dealer just emailed me and said truck is produced but on chip hold, no ETA given.

If you put your info in ordertrack.app it will give you the link for the motorcraft site that has that info

I'm a novice with this stuff, but I see a ton of BCE modules, but nothing under PCM modules, is that normal?

Yes. Never have PCM modules. Do you have a tear tag? Also it could be on a chip hold. I would check with ford chat

I do see a tear tag listed. This thread prompted me to ask Ford Chat this morning and they see chip hold status. They also said delivery to dealer 8/9-8/15 but that seems unlikely. Maybe that's the date range to resolve chips and then it would move to ship.

Just picked up the truck from the dealer yesterday. Drove it back to Florida 12 and half hours straight. It’s almost broken in at 1k miles. Loved every minute and mile of the drive, mostly in blue cruise. Here’s a pic from the dealer and another when I got home. It’s a little dirty from all the bugs I had to get through to get home. 5 months total wait and well worth it. Good luck to you all and hope you all get your trucks soon!

Looking at the 7/18 build week posts, lots of people in this same boat with "In Production." Quite a few have been told chip holds until ~8/15 timeframe.
