My truck went into production on 7.13.22 and it is still showing in production today (8.2.22)
It is an XLT, 4x4, 5.0, 302a, Max Tow, B&O, Bed utility pkg, two-tone paint.

810 modules populated. Activate button showing on FordPass. Ford chat says it is still in production.

I can only assume some kind of chip or part hold??? Maybe Max Tow Axles??

Any ideas?
Our builds are pretty similar. I also have 810 modules populated and been in production since 7/14. I reached out to the salesman at my dealership and he said it does not appear anything is holding it up in production. He said as near as he could tell it is built and ready to ship with an estimated delivery date of 8/25 to the dealership. The dealership I bought from is about 4 hours from the plant. I also reached out to Ford Chat and they said if it were on chip hold it would indicate that if that were the case but it’s not. Hope this helps.

The conversation below is from Ford chat today:

It looks like your Ford 2022 F-150 is in Production. When an order is "In Production," it is being manufactured at one of our factories.
No new details have been posted yet, it's pending updates .
For general status updates, you do have our online tracking system available:
https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

Can you tell me if it is waiting on a part or a chip?

Wendy

The system doesn't advise any holds or reason for delays, but I can only assume it's due to the chip shortage. We would recommend staying in contact with the Sales Manager at your Ford Dealership for updates as well.

I could be wrong as there are many other people on here that have helped me out and seem to know more than I do, but to the best of my understanding the modules that are populated are tied to the necessary chips so if the modules are populated they have the chips already. I thought I had read this somewhere on the forums here. My salesman also told me he had several customers recently with a similar disposition from Ford and that the truck just showed up even though the tracker was not updated to built or shipped. I hope you get your truck soon. I know it’s driving me bananas sitting here waiting in limbo.

Got a call from my dealer yesterday that my truck arrived. Can’t wait to pick it up on Thursday! Hang in there everyone. It’ll be worth the wait!

I ordered March 14 - Limited PB. Build date was 6/22 and the Blend was 7/15. All modules populated over the 7/16 weekend. FordPass app shows the vehicle with "Activate" button. Still "In Production" with ETA (as of yesterday) of 8/16 to my dealer. Hoping they are just really behind on updating. Chat assured me there was no chip hold on the vehicle.

Maybe still waiting on wheel liners since the are an included item on the Limited?

I found in another thread a way to track some convoy orders. You can go to United Road Logistics website and type in your VIN. It will then allow you to sign up for an account through OVISS system. I am now able to see that my truck is sitting in a lot at Kansas City awaiting convoy shipment but has not left yet. When you sign up through OVISS if your truck is being shipped by United Road, you can be notified whenever a United Road shipment makes it to your respective dealer. It’s the most information I have been able to figure out since my truck went into production 24 days ago.

Good info! I tried it but got nothing. My sticker does say rail, though.

2022 F150 - Super Crew - 302A - FX4 - SAP - Oxford White - 5.0V8 - Max Tow Package - Pano Roof - 2Kw onboard power - NO Ford installed accessories added
Ordered - 10/28/2021
Received VIN - 05/12/22
Got Window Sticker - 06/30/22
Blend Date (moved 3 times) - 07/13/22
All modules populated/ford pass activate button/dealer says built - 07/15/2022
All I can get from anyone is that "it is built" no indication if it is waiting on the dock to get loaded on the rail or what. Word I get is that there are no part/chip holds listed.

Is there any common theme to the ones of us that have been build but haven't had them shipped yet?
Located in Iowa, window sticker shows Rail shipment.

You can continue to track the order here: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/
It will be updated once the next steps are in process.

[ CORRECTION] Similar situation here. In production since 7/14. Been told several different things by Ford Chat, but latest was today I was told I am "on chip hold," but that issue is "supposed to be resolved between 8/19-8/25 not 9/19-9/25." Who knows anymore. Maybe Ford is getting a bunch of microchips that week? ?

9/19 - 9/25 woof. I did forget to add, I was consistently told that ETA to dealership was 8/13-8/19. Something major must have happened in the last couple of days. Back to Ford Chat to see what they say.

From Chat:
"Thank you for your patience, Bart. First, congratulations on your new 2022 F-150! Your order currently shows In Production-Produced-Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI-Micro Chip At Plant On Hold-Status Update ETA Aug-19-2022."

Tried to clarify what would happen Aug-19-2022:
"According to these details, we would expect status updates by the 19th."

Not a lot of clarity....
