6.5.0 update failed Manifest Mismatch

Hello,

I am trying to get my truck to complete the 6.5.0 update, but it's failing because I did the HSW mod which included replacing the SCCM. I want to get it to update and as far as I know I have three options;

1. Swap back in the old SCCM and deal with not having a heated wheel in my truck until the update decides to complete, and swapping it back and repeating it the next time an update for the SCCM drops.

2. Obtain a Mongoose and FDRS license and somehow manually push an update, and pray this doesn't cause issues down the road.

3. Just forget about updates. (obviously don't want this option)

Is there any other options? I'd imagine there's some way to tell Ford that the SCCM has been changed due to the Service Letter that dropped not too long ago.

The part number for the sccm nolonger matches the software part number ford cloud thinks your truck has.
I would update everything in FDRS.

I forgot to update this thread but I have been in talks with somebody who knows way more about these trucks than me. He’s doing what he can to help me out

I’m in the same boat. I updated everything with fdrs a year ago and the HSW sccm I swapped was the only thing that wouldn’t update back then. Got the failed 6.5.0 yesterday and @rugedraw looked up and found it failed for the sane reason as yours.

I had the same failure, it also failed in FDRS when I was updating everything else there, there may be some other options to get everything going within FDRS but the standard update procedure does not work and fails with the same manifest mismatch.

Last weekend a member on here made some corrections for me, not sure if that did the trick yet as I haven't had time to try in FDRS (and honestly a lack of desire to pay $50 just for this update) and a new OTA trigger needs to be sent for it to come through that way which is a crap shoot as to when it will happen.

I put it on trickle charger overnight battery volt shows 12.3 but it has given same unsuccessful message three times now since Sunday. How did y’all know it failed from SCCM, etc?

I can see why an OTA fails with your VIN using Ford's PTS website.
